We had a wonderful tour with Cozy! She met us on time at the ferry terminal and took us to see all the sites on Sakurajima island. She did a great job explaining everything to us and getting us everywhere on time with very little waiting for buses or ferries. We enjoyed it very much!

We had a great tour with our guide, Cozy! She met us early at the ferry terminal and had everything planned perfectly so that we could see and do everything with almost no waiting. She gave us great information about Kagoshima and Sakurajima and was a delight to spend time with. She moved us along at a wonderful pace so we had no threat of not making it back to our cruise ship on time. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the Sakurajima volcano!

Be sure to leave plenty of time to explore all this island has to offer. There is usually ash in the air, so you may consider bringing a mask.

We took a short ferry ride to Sakurajima Island. The foot bath from the thermal springs was a wonderful experience. We bought some oranges from the visitor center that were some of the best we've ever tasted. We also had fun making art from the volcanic ash, a nice memento from our time in Sakurjima.

Cozy was a very good guide. She gave us background & stories of where we went. Foot bath was an experience even though a little HOT. I recommend this tour. She even helped us get back to the ships shuttle bus. Thank you very much Cozy.

The trip was fine, although description said lunch was included. That was not the case. No lunch included.

Allow more than 30 minutes, if traveling by cab, due to some heavy traffic. Otherwise it was a very knowledgeable experience.

We had a fun day with ferry ride, shrine, national park, foot bath park, art project, and volcano. We even saw a gigantic Sakurajima radish, I'm guessing it weighed around 30 pounds. That's less than half the record! It's a great excursion to do from a cruise, back two hours before all aboard.
