Here, you will also see the impressive Neues Rathaus Weimar, the city’s Neo-Gothic Town Hall with its distinctive clock tower.
Continue to the magnificent Stadtkirche St. Peter und Paul, commonly known as Herder Church. This important Lutheran church is closely associated with philosopher and theologian Johann Gottfried Herder and is famous for housing a celebrated altarpiece created by Lucas Cranach the Elder and his son.
