Kyrenia Gate
One of the oldest gate to enter the walled city of Nicosia
The Samanbahce Quater
It was built in 1900 by the Ottoman Saban Pasa. 72 houses were given to the people who were in need. You will see the cistern in the centre.

3.00Our guide was very friendly, cheerful and eager to please, yet his knowledge of the Southern side of Nicosia was not as impressive as his full understanding of the Northern side. We enjoyed the time we had together, but felt that we could have learned more about the Greek Cypriot part of the capital. Enjoyable and thorough in that we covered a great deal of ground, but we felt that we could have learned more.

5.00Enjoyably wandered the 2 sides of the column in the last European divided city with our guide Sirin Suha. We had the opportunity to sample the homemade lemonade and Cyprus stew, which was a must during the sightseeing. It’s especially on top of the spots where we loved Big Han. I recommend this tour for everyone Recommendation

5.00We had a difficult start due to our lack of knowledge however Sirin was so kind and helpful to get us sorted. She happily rearranged the meeting point and tour to accommodate us. She is very knowledgeable, informative and took us to places we couldn’t have found without her. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Sirin and learned a lot about the culture and history of Cyprus. She has made us think about future trips to Cyprus in which case we would definitely book a tour with her again. Highly recommend 😀

5.00One of the most interesting cities to visit in the EU as it is the last divided capital. If you are interested in history this is a must see city if you visit Cyprus. She has a deep knowledge of Cyprus past. She is punctual and a very friendly and entertaining guide. If you go to Cyprus make sure to book this tour with her.

5.00This was the perfect way to learn about Cyprus' divided capital. Sirin was extremely knowledgeable. In just 3 hours, we got to see both the Greek and Turkish sides of the city and learned a lot about the history of the island over the centuries. This was a private tour, and Sirin was flexible with timing. The pacing of the tour was perfect and the short break for a drink was appreciated. Sirin also provided excellent suggestions for lunch restauranta to visit following our tour. We were very happy with the experience!

5.00Starting the day in Nicosia with Şirin was the perfect introduction to the north. She welcomed us with such ease and warmth that we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Her deep knowledge of the city’s layered history added so much meaning to what we saw, from the quiet elegance of Büyük Han to the grandeur of Selimiye Mosque. It was my first real experience of this part of the city, and I couldn’t have asked for a more engaging and insightful guide. Her energy made everything feel alive.

5.00In Northern Cyprus, it is very difficult to find organized tours (and it is inconvenient to rent a right-hand drive to explore this part of the island). I was very lucky to find Shirin. So I advise you all. At affordable prices, you will be told in a comfortable car about the history of the island, will show iconic sights, will be brought to places and shops that interest you. The next time we arrive, we will definitely turn to Shirin once again♥️
