Our dog sledding is located only a 45-minute drive from Tromsø, at the gateway to the Lyngen Alps. This area gives you stunning views over the majestic mountain peaks (up to 1400 meters!) and the fjord at the same time! Our tour involves 60 minutes of dogsledding in a thrilling ride along tree-lined trails and through open terrain. A briefing on how to handle the sled will be given before the trip. It’s not that hard, as the dogs are eager to run and follow the team in front of them. During the ride, you will be the musher and a part of a team together with your dogs. Your travelling partner will be sitting on the sled, and you switch positions halfway. Our guides will lead groups of 3-4 guest teams each. If you are a single person, you may be teamed up with another single person or one of our guides. After the adventure, we head inside to warm up by the fireplace and get a hot lunch and hot drinks. Breivikeidet has a large population of moose and reindeer during summer. We will tell you the story about the Moose, the Alaska Huskies and the daily life of our 4-legged friends.

Amazing day amongst beautiful scenery. We were both a little nervous as there is quite a lot to remember but the guide with us was amazing and the whole trip was really well organised. You can see how much the dogs love it and it was lovely to be able to spend a bit of time with them afterwards. The soup when you get back is not to be missed! A fabulous day and would definitely recommend

Highlight: Absolutely mind blowing experience in a wonderful landscape with warm and caring people. I can only recommend booking this dog sledding activity: the dogs are super kind and happy (our dog team was super powerful and very friendly) and we had so much fun sledding with them! The people there care so much about the dogs, we loved chatting with them. On top of that, the soup was super tasty!

The experience would have been beautiful, but being alone I was put on the guide sled that made me drive the sled only 10 min against the lap time...

It was a good experience for us. The dogs were lovely and friendly. I really enjoyed the landscapes during dog sledging. It was good to see the dogs running happily, and we also had fun. However, the staff who led the way from the front moved slowly, so the speed was slow. There were many stops in the middle, and I think it would be good if the speed was a little faster.

The journey by bus was very pleasant. The weather was perfect, and the team's care was excellent. The cold protective clothing offered served its purpose optimally. The dog sled ride itself was a unique, beautiful experience in almost untouched, deep snowy winter landscape surrounded by mountains. The subsequent meals and the return journey rounded off this perfectly successful day.

Awesome experience with the dogs and arctic circle. View was amazing. Ride was thrilling at times. Dogs had character. Team there were amazing and funny. All the gear was provided. Soup and bread at the end were delicious! Worth it, considering the amount of time you actually get to spend dogsledding.
