This was an amazing experience! It was so much fun for me, my kids and my mother. We loved getting to know the dogs, the sled ride and the time afterwards to cuddle the dogs and get to know María and Gunni and their story. It was truly a magicial experience.

We had an absolutely brilliant time with GoHusky. Gunni and Maria are extremely welcoming as are their 30 huskies. Worth every penny and an experience we won't forget, even if Gunni does support Liverpool!

This is the most amazing experience, Gunni and María and their (20 + 10) Huskies were so welcoming, even allowing us to spend time with them all in their lovely home. Would highly recommend, an absolute must for dog lovers and a genuine icelandic experience! :)

Gunni and Maria run an excellent dog sledding business that I would recommend to everyone! Friendly and knowledgeable in their craft, you can truly see they love their life and sharing it with others. The dogs are adorable and excited to interact with everyone. They are well trained and taken care of. The sledding itself is magical especially with fresh fallen snow. Highly recommended and would do this again!

What a wonderful experience to take a ride on a dogsled through fresh snow in the forest, by the fjord, under the mountains. Better, you don't know anything about dog sledding until you spend a couple of up close and personal hours with a champion! And the huskies are not just mind bendingy cute, but friendly as! Loved it, highly recommended. No special skills required. Thanks Gunnar, it was brilliant.

The owners communicated with our travel agent and us about what the snow conditions would allow for us to do and gave us options based on weather forecast and conditions. Given the way the weather can change quickly there, their excellent communication helped us plan for this activity. From the moment we pulled up, we all were in love with all the dogs and this activity. We honestly could have just had dog snuggle time for hours! That said, we took turns on a private dog sledding run that made core memories for us the parents and our teens. One teen even had a brief turn driving the sled. This area is beautiful and the perspective on the sled was a memorable one. The dogs’ personalities and their obvious love of sledding made us all have permanent smiles. After the sledding we returned for hot chocolate, coffee, dog snuggles and learned about the innovative way dog hair is being reused. I had to buy an ear warmer made from husky hair. A favorite and functional souvenir. We have one dog ( German Shep/lab/husky mix) and one teen is already wondering about making something useful from all his excess hair. We heard about their hikes when snow melts and if we were here in the summer we would absolutely try that.

Well this was an amazing morning. We were met at our hotel in Akureyri and driven 15 minutes to site. Great conversation about the town and people. On arrival we were met by a chorus of husky dogs. The noise was deafening. Our host gave us a great insight into how they are cared for and we spent a good amount of time playing with the dogs. We then went on an amazing ride through the woods. The dogs were really excited to be running and were well controlled. On our return, we were allowed into the house to see how they live and talk to the owner for quite some time about life living with 20+ huskies. This is a truly fantastic experience. Don't hesitate to try GoHusky.

Amazing experience, best of our vacation in Iceland. The 21 dogs we all super sweet and cuddly and Gunni was a great host. You could see his passion in everything he said and how he communicated and cared for his dogs too. Lovely to see. 100% recommend for anyone going to Iceland.

One of the best days I have ever spent. From the friendly pick up and communication, to the dog sledding and to Gunni sharing his love of their dogs, it was a perfect day. My wife had to drag me back to the hotel!
