Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple is the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai, Thailand which contains the holy relics of Lord Bhuddha in the golden pagoda , built by the ancient Lanna kingdom dynasty called Mangrai in 1367-1388. The temple is situated on the hilltop which is 1,010 meters elevation where we can see the view of the entire charming Chiangmai city that is surrounded with the greenery mountain. 5.00We had a great day. Our tour guide, Nui, was kind, helpful and knowledgable. He explained the importance and history of the temples and the meaning of the symbols and statues. He explained points of interest during the drive and was concerned about our comfort. The waterfall was so fun and Nui was with us the whole time, making sure we were safe and taking the best route. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Highly tecommended! Our guide, Nui, was wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The two temples are both beautiful, in completely different ways - even our kids loved seeing them - and outside the city so more relaxed. And the Bua Tong "sticky waterfall" (which Nui does with you) is SO much fun - our teen and pre-teen had a blast.

5.00This was a great full day adventure! The “M” was our private guide. During our tour he was very informative, he had a great knowledge of the places we visited. During the drives he answered all our questions about the country, history, culture, religious, education, etc. He provided great recommendations for meals after our tour and even stopped at an ATM for us and asked if there was anything other stop we needed to make. Lunch was wonderful. We chose the traditional lanna set and M helped us choose the most delicious pieces. His vehicle was new, roomy, comfortable and clean. He was a great driver and great care of us all day.
