What To Expect
On our morning journey we will head out by boat in search of different types of marine life. Our main objective is to spot and see the variety types of dolphins that we have here. During the trip we also have high chances of seeing sea turtles. In certain times of the year we have very high possibility of spotting mantarays and even breaching humpback whales ! During the navigation our captain will be explaining key information and fun facts about the beaches here in Puerto Escondido.

5.00This was an unforgettable trip and one we will lead with when talking about Puerto Escondido. Puerto Journeys picked us up, took us to Playa Principal and then out on the water for 3 hours. They made sure we saw dolphins - we saw 1000 (not kidding). For good measure we also saw 3 turtles and 3 humpback whales! Just a pleasure to be out on the water cruising around. So yeah, highly recommend!

5.00Wonderful experience and our guide was a knowledgeable expert with lots of energy, warmth, care and passion for the sea, the anamls and his work. He was quite conscious of the extreme sound sensitivity of the whales in particular, amid the difficult situation of all the boats circling and chasing the whale pod.

5.00We LOVED our tour. Our boat captain was great. He was in constant communication with his crew to find wildlife. The capitan is fully bilingual (Spanish and English). He shared facts about the animals and was easy to talk to. He brought us to a location with a humpback whale mom and calf. We enjoyed them from a close range, but he was also respectful of their space. Then we saw a pod of dolphins. It was incredible. I swam for a while. We also stopped to admire several sea turtles and pelicans. The guide, Mario, was also great. He picked us up on time and was friendly. We enjoyed this tour so much. It's great for all ages. We later with the same company and used the guide Mario to explore the lagoon and bioluminescence.

5.00100% recommend. Our guide/captain Salvador was amazing and super knowledgable. We saw 100+ dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles, flying fish, jellyfish, pelicans. Really amazing morning. Also appreciated our boat not chasing after the whales with ~20 other boats. We waited until the end and got to see the whales without stressing them out and going them plenty of room

5.00Really enjoyable trip with a knowledgeable helpful Captain! Saw dolphins whales turtles and rays. (Captain also stopped the boat twice to remove a plastic bottle and plyrostene cup from sea! Proper guardian of the sea creatures and their environment! Thank You Salvador! The pick up arrangements were good too! Driver helpful and flexible allowing trip to ATM on the way home!
