  The whole point of the trip was to see dolphins, they boast about the fact they’re famous for it. Maybe the founder was doing it right, now it’s too commercialised. We basically saw some cormorants and a few sea lions. We can see cormorants at the river in our town. So, for us, it was a complete waste of money and a bit of a rip off.

  Disappointed never saw one penguin or dolphins only sea lions and birds can’t get that close anyway maybe change the name was expensive and wasn’t a good day out

  Lovely trip to see wildlife around Penguin Island . The guides and driver were very informative and helpful. We saw sea lions, pelicans, penguins, pied cormorants and osprey. It was a lovely morning trip.

  disappointing as we never went close to Penguin Island, at the moment it is not part of the tour, so people should be made aware of this.

  We packed in to have trip n land on penguin island so we we can spend the day, but then on the counter we were told it’s not stopping because of too much sand on there so we were made round in the sea. Just wasted our whole day should have been informed earlier

  We didn’t spot a single dolphin nor a penguin, which was a great turn off. While talking to the tour guide, we were told its sheer luck to be able to spot them in the wild. Also, read the same on the tour itinerary but tried our luck. It was a nice cruise though and we spot birds on the bird island and all male sea lion sleeping. The view was spectacular but I wouldn’t recommend this tour since sighting of the wildlife are super low.

  The experience is worth every cent! The enthusiasm of the skipper and the young female guide was infectious. Both did a wonderful job.
