There’s nothing better than experiencing Dresden’s magical Christmas atmosphere than on our small-group tour (max. 8 people), just a 2-hour drive from Prague!
Visit Germany’s oldest Christmas market, the famous Striezelmarkt, where you’ll have 3 hours of free time to explore festive stalls, shop for unique souvenirs, and enjoy one complimentary cup of traditional Glühwein.
Travel comfortably in our modern minivan with free WiFi, and enjoy a guided walking tour of Dresden’s historic center plus a delicious à la carte lunch. Your English-speaking guide will also lead a walking tour of Dresden’s historic center, showcasing all the main highlights. A delicious à la carte lunch in a local restaurant is included.
On the way to Dresden, we’ll stop in Saxon Switzerland National Park, where you’ll stroll across the iconic Bastei Bridge and admire breathtaking views of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. You’ll also visit the ruins of a 12th-century rock castle along this easy, scenic walk.

What To Expect
Prague
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Prague in the morning. From that moment on, our mission is to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the day trip to the fullest. As we drive to the Northern Region (1.5 hrs) in our comfortable, modern van with FREE WiFi. Your guide will share insights about the national park, the Czech and German countryside, and everything you can look forward to during the trip.
Parc National de la Suisse Saxonne
The first stop is the stunning Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany, famous for its dramatic sandstone formations, deep forested gorges, and breathtaking panoramic viewpoints. Here, you’ll explore the iconic Bastei Bridge area, offering unforgettable views over the Elbe River and the surrounding rock towers. From the start of the tour, free snacks and water will be available for you to enjoy throughout the entire day.

5.00We had an amazing day visiting the spectacular sites at the Bastei Bridge and the beautiful Dresden Christmas market . Our guide, Mirek was thoughtful, patient and downright heroic - especially when he navigated the epic women’s washroom line at the first gas station and closed tunnel - not his first rodeo . He pivoted like a pro and made the whole trip smooth and memorable. Highly recommend!

He was thoughtful, informative, patient and incredibly courteous throughout the day. Mirek knew exactly when to pivot - like when we encountered an insane line for the women’s washroom at the first gas station, or when the tunnel to Dresden was closed . He handled everything smoothly and with grace. The sites were stunning, the market magical, and Mirek’s guidance truly elevated the trip . Highly recommend !

5.00This was an amazing experience and our guide Robert was highly knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. This was the perfect way to see both Bastei Saxon and Dresden. The transport to and from Prague was seamless and comfortable. Robert also had great advice on what to explore in Dresdon and how to have the best experience in Dresden's many Chriatmas markets. The markets in Dreaden were far more authentic and less commercial than what you find in Berlin.

5.00Had a great time on this tour! Mirek did a great time wrangling everyone and teaching us about the different spots we visited. The markets were a must see, and Mirek walked us around to different markets before we had free time so we could then go off to where we wanted.

Our tour guide, Jules, was fantastic—so approachable and knowledgeable, making the history and sights come alive in an engaging way.
