Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre
Our first stop is the famous Barrack Obama Plaza, a must-visit landmark in Ireland. This isn’t just any service station—it’s THE service station, built in honor of former U.S. President Barack Obama, whose ancestors hailed from nearby Moneygall. Here, you can grab a quick bite, stock up on snacks, or snap a selfie with the Obama statue before continuing your adventure. Don’t miss the quirky Conan O’Brien Air Pump, named after the legendary talk show host following his visit!
Upon departing Barrack Obama Plaza the coach will drive past the ancient cities of Limerick and Ennis as-well as drive for a brief few moments underneath the widest and longest river in all Ireland; the majestic River Shannon. Shortly after the Shannon we will past by Bunratty Castle and begin to traverse the winding roads of County Clare, home of the Cliffs of Moher. Ennistymon is a rite of passage for anyone taking a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher for it is home to the dreaded ‘Kissing Corner of Ennistymon’ known across the west of Ireland for the difficulty some drivers have with navigating one of the tightest turns in the entire island! With our drivers however you will see what a real professional driver can do as they’ll sail right through no matter the conditions. Make sure to hold your breath and don’t forget to applaud your driver when they take you around this turn towards adventure.

It is a long bus ride but well worth it. Getting there, and after, was almost half the fun., well not quite because the Cliffs of Mohers are amazing and stunning. The bus was big and comfortable, Richard our guide was terrific, funny and very informative. And driver Jose, navigating the Wild Atlantic Trail, a truly beautified trip after the visit to the Cliffs, did an amazing job. Lots of time at the Cliffs, stop for pictures along the Wild Atlantic Trail and very relaxing time to walk around Galway to cap it off, made for an all round great day.

What a day. We got stuck in a 5 car pule up with a significant delay, our tour guide Nial and Goran our driver remained calm and professional and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't miss out on anything making us their priority. Also Gorans driving, best of all the tours we did.

This was an amazing tour!!! We had Dylan and Aneil and it was a fun, comical and enthusiastic day. He made funny jokes, told stories, played music, it was a very fun and engaging atmosphere! Worth it 1000%. I have been studying abroad for the past 5 weeks in Dublin and my family was visiting so my first time in Galway and it was beautiful; amazing weather; amazing views; and amazing price for all that you get to experience and see. Definitely a long day from 7 am to almost 8 pm but it is so worth the money to go straight from Dublin and have it all included with access to the different sight seeing and exhibits! We got to see puffins, get original sweaters, authentic jewelry, have yummy food, Dylan made wonderful recommendations for shopping, food, sight seeing and was very on top of getting to each stop first as there were multiple buses on the same path/trip. We were always the first there and it made it less crowded and so fun to explore. We were all very pleased with the experience and would absolutely go again!

Our guide Peter and our driver, Jose, made this day fantastic ! The bus was comfortable and the scenery was beautiful! Peter’s knowledge of the area was wonderful and kept our 12 year old actively engaged the entire day. Jose must be a magician to navigate the narrow roads and TIGHT turns. I enjoyed learning the history of Ireland and architecture. We were lucky to see the cliffs and the Barren National Park was so much more than I expected. The city of Galway did not disappoint. Peter shared some of his favorites and was always so clear on the logistics of the day. I highly recommend taking this tour!
