Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre
Our first stop is the famous Barrack Obama Plaza, a must-visit landmark in Ireland. This isn’t just any service station—it’s THE service station, built in honor of former U.S. President Barack Obama, whose ancestors hailed from nearby Moneygall. Here, you can grab a quick bite, stock up on snacks, or snap a selfie with the Obama statue before continuing your adventure. Don’t miss the quirky Conan O’Brien Air Pump, named after the legendary talk show host following his visit!
Upon departing Barrack Obama Plaza the coach will drive past the ancient cities of Limerick and Ennis as-well as drive for a brief few moments underneath the widest and longest river in all Ireland; the majestic River Shannon. Shortly after the Shannon we will past by Bunratty Castle and begin to traverse the winding roads of County Clare, home of the Cliffs of Moher. Ennistymon is a rite of passage for anyone taking a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher for it is home to the dreaded ‘Kissing Corner of Ennistymon’ known across the west of Ireland for the difficulty some drivers have with navigating one of the tightest turns in the entire island! With our drivers however you will see what a real professional driver can do as they’ll sail right through no matter the conditions. Make sure to hold your breath and don’t forget to applaud your driver when they take you around this turn towards adventure.

Narrative, soundtrack, knowledge, entertainment, info, sightseeing and most of all... timing and planning was the best part of this tour. Ollie is a true romantic and joyful person and guide. He kept us informed and aware of the culture we were looking at and we really had a great time because of him. Hats off to Thomas, our drives, as well. Did a great and careful job on the wheel. Cliffs of Moher and Galway speaks for themselves. I will fully recommend this experience to anyone at anytime.

Oli was fantastic!!! Super nice guy and really knowledgeable. He had us laughing and smiling the whole day, even being on the bus for so many hours. He really cares about the history behind all these places, and you can tell he has a passion for sharing it with others from all over the world. Wouldn't have rather had anyone else to lead this tour.

This was such a fantastic tour. Ollie is so fun, knowledgeable, and gave a lovely tour with lots of great information. He and Thomas, the driver, took us through some amazing spots and shared the history with an amazing perspective. I learned so much and had a great time! I can’t recommend Ollie enough. The price was super great for the value of the tour, and definitely worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour! It was well-organized and on-time. Tony was an awesome guide. He mixed knowledge with humor and kept things interesting. Our driver Mario was also great. He maneuvered our massive bus with expertise. I never felt unsafe during our whole ride, despite the narrow winding roads. Huge thank you to the both of them!
