Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre
Our first stop is the famous Barrack Obama Plaza, a must-visit landmark in Ireland. This isn’t just any service station—it’s THE service station, built in honor of former U.S. President Barack Obama, whose ancestors hailed from nearby Moneygall. Here, you can grab a quick bite, stock up on snacks, or snap a selfie with the Obama statue before continuing your adventure. Don’t miss the quirky Conan O’Brien Air Pump, named after the legendary talk show host following his visit!
Upon departing Barrack Obama Plaza the coach will drive past the ancient cities of Limerick and Ennis as-well as drive for a brief few moments underneath the widest and longest river in all Ireland; the majestic River Shannon. Shortly after the Shannon we will past by Bunratty Castle and begin to traverse the winding roads of County Clare, home of the Cliffs of Moher. Ennistymon is a rite of passage for anyone taking a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher for it is home to the dreaded ‘Kissing Corner of Ennistymon’ known across the west of Ireland for the difficulty some drivers have with navigating one of the tightest turns in the entire island! With our drivers however you will see what a real professional driver can do as they’ll sail right through no matter the conditions. Make sure to hold your breath and don’t forget to applaud your driver when they take you around this turn towards adventure.
Reserved seating: Reserve seats within the first 3 front rows of the coach. Left and right hand side
Cliffs of Moher tour open seat: Choose this option for open seating on the coach. Seats are allocated based on the order of arrival.

It was a warm sunny day when we got to experience the Cliffs of Moher and Galway with our guide Jack. During the bus ride Jack offered history and culture of the Irish and played local music to match. He also provided ample quiet time on the bus. Our driver got us to/from safely. Thank you both for a great day!

What a day! Another wonderful tour arranged by Viator. We appreciate the reminders and follow up. The buses were very clean, on time and the stops were well timed. It is a long day but our tour guide (Rowan) kept us engaged with his extensive knowledge peppered with humorous personal stories. We were fortunate that although the weather was a real mixed bag of strong winds and all types of rain, we didn’t have any fog. People need to understand when booking , the weather is unpredictable and if it is foggy, it is possible you will not see anything. To note, the visitor center is full of exhibits and is a very good option if you encounter fog.

One of the most memorable trips I’ve ever had. truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide, Jacko, was absolutely fantastic. He shared so much insightful and fascinating information about the country, its history, local customs, and the people, making the journey not just enjoyable but also deeply enriching. His way of explaining things kept everyone engaged throughout the day. The whole trip was very well-organized, with a perfect balance of activities and free time to explore. The bus was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. This wasn’t just sightseeing, it was a full cultural experience, and that’s thanks to Jacko’s passion and knowledge. 100% worth it and highly recommended!
