A high quality ChaperoneVIP private tour in Dublin presented by myself Eamonn, a Dubliner born and bred with a 7 passenger limousine licensed minivan with Air-con, plenty of legroom and a microphone or up to 3 guests in a BMW 7 series limo.
This original custom tour is a fun mix of Irish history, traditional Irish music, scenic coastal drive, our famous Dublin pub & whiskey culture, sightseeing photo stops and all while I am taking the very best care of you personally.
As we drive, you'll learn about our brave revolutionaries, Ireland's emigration & the famine, religion, the language, Guinness brewery history & just what’s it’s like to grow up in Ireland.
This tour is designed by me personally to show you what really matters in Dublin and doesn’t overlap with any large bus or walking tour.

5.00I cannot say enough good things about Eamonn. We booked for a private tour . We visited Newgrange, Manowar pub , Howth Castle and cliffs. Amazing tour guide. Friendly , engaging. Spent all day almost 10 hours and the time flew by. True Irish Gentleman!

With his knowledge of Irish and Dublin history he should be a professor. The combination of a pleasant personality and great knowledge makes his organization a great choice in Dublin and surrounding areas.

5.00We had to postpone our trip and change our itinerary several times over the course of about a year and a half, and Eamonn was so patient and helpful planning just the right tour. He met us at the airport and took us to see the coastline and go for a little nature walk to stretch out after our flight New York. He got us tickets and made sure we got in for our reserved time at Kilmainham Gaol. We also got to enjoy our first pint (of the real Guinness) in Ireland together with him at a great pub near St. James Gate. We love you Eamonn! You're an amazing guide and representative of beautiful Ireland. Come see us in Oregon any time!

5.00My family of six spent a bespoke day tour of Dublin with Eamonn mid June 2025 and it was a fantastic experience. We arrived on the Regal Princess cruise ship and he picked us up at the port with a shot of whiskey to toast our adventure. He was on time and very friendly and engaging. It was clear that he loves his city and enjoys showing people the sights, music and culture. He helped us navigate Guinness from the top bar down, took us to listen to live music with front row seats to see a band at a quaint bar, got us a table for lunch in a local pub and made authentic food recommendations. He took pictures of our group and shared the photos of the experiences. He made us a post card to send home and provided snacks for the group. He had so many little things that made the time with him five stars. His transportation was updated and clean and he had a microphone system so everyone in the vehicle could easily hear him. He is an intelligent man who knows his history, music, sights and culture. Eamonn created an itinerary that was perfect for our group when I shared what our interests were. There is no way we could have accomplished what we did on our own and he provided invaluable knowledge. Do not hesitate to book ChaperoneVIP with Eamonn Hourigan. Our tour was so much better than the cruise had to offer and we will recommend him with anyone we know who spends time in Dublin.

5.00We spent the lsst 3 days in glorious Ireland with Eammon. as our guide. We highly recommend him. Not only did he pick us up at the airport on our arrival and give us a fun tour of Dublin (with a stop at Telling distillery), the next day we toured Galway and the Cliffs of Mohr and finished on day 3 with a sheep dog exhibition and a walk about in Killkeny — all are very worthwhile and we have no regrets about the cost. Eamonn is very personable, and knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, the fights for independence, the “troubles” and explains the locales we drive through. He’s great with children (ours being 5 & 10). His recommendations for food & drink & music are spot on. His Ford touring van is very comfortable and easily accommodated our 5 and luggage. No complaints from anyone - even on the long drives. We highly recommend Eammon.
