Excellent tour driving along the east coast of Cape Breton Island- driver was very kind and accommodating, gave just the right amount of info but not too much, took us to lovely spots for photos and the day was a great success.

On time. Great Experience. Explained everything on the way regarding the history, and nature. Jaipal knows what are the best spots to stop for wonderful scenic views. I have taken another personal tour for myself also with this company after doing the one day trip as I liked their service very much.

Cabot trail drive—not quite what I was expecting. I thought we would be stopping at some of the artisan shops along the way (woodworking, goats’ milk soaps, etc,) but it was more of a scenic drive with several stops to get out and take photos of the lake (Bras d’Or). It really was a beautiful drive, especially with the fall color. I guess I didn’t read the description thoroughly, but it turned out great anyway. We happened to have gorgeous weather—sunny and 75 degrees F.—which the locals said is very unusual for this area in early October. A few things: the Viator description page for this tour indicated there would be bottled water and air conditioning in the vehicle—when I asked about water, driver-guide George gladly gave me his (unopened) water bottle. But there was no bottled water for the group. The last couple of hours, the car’s vents were blowing out hot air and it was a bit uncomfortable. And finally, the Clucking Hen Cafe & Bakery stop, where we planned to get lunch, was unprepared for the lunch rush (there were only four in our group, but it was busy when we arrived). The front counter staff seemed dazed and got one of the orders wrong. The waitresses were harried and rude, and after waiting over half an hour to place an order, we gave up and left, hungry. (The other couple in our group shared a bowl of soup—they'd ordered two but received only one. My husband and I were never able to place an order). But in spite of those issues, overall it was a very pleasant day, and George was quite knowledgeable about the area as well as friendly and personable.

Fall colors were good. Probably about 70 percent to being at peak. Driver George was nice and kept us updated on what we were seeing on the Cabot Trail.

Beautiful drive with several stops. The driver (Amal George) was very friendly and polite. He was aware of our time restrictions and we had no issues being back in port as requested.
