The trip was amazing. Kava Kava was perfect, and our guide Tokay was extraordinary. He was so kind, helpful, and funny. He cared about us and took care of what we needed, but more importantly his love for Rapa Nui is contagious. He provided us with a meaningful understanding of Rapa Nui --such a special treasure.

This trip was great and our guide Toto was fantastic. We saw all the sites one must see and Toto gave us all the history and background information. He knew as well the good spots for taking our pictures. When my wife hurt her knee he organized immediately an ice-pack and a walking stick and helped her. Should not forget the fresh pineapple's juice he gave us from his pineapple farm. He just exceptional. When you book this trip ask for Toto to be your guide.

  • A well rounded look at Rapa Nui

My husband and I recently did a Private Tour with RaPaNui guide Toki, booked thru KavaKava tours. The tour exceeded our expectations. Toki was friendly, spoke excellent English, was punctual and efficient and very well informed on all matters historical and current. He was flexible, as he had to work around the schedule of a movie set. We were pleased that we had booked the same guide for our entire trip as our rapport with Toki became relaxed and casual. He displayed a love for his culture and is a credit to them. We can highly recommend KavaKava Tours and in particular, guide Tokerau Hey.
