5.00We did this as a family of five. My mother, two teens (13 and 15) and my husband and I. So we cover a few age groups with this review. It was fantastic! Our first stop had flooded earlier that day, and our wonderful tour guide and driver jumped straight into a plan b and checked with us if we were happy with the new plan. The different foods were great, and hearing the history behind the places we ate and the areas we went was informative, interesting and at times very funny. There was food that suited everyone (not easy to achieve with the youngest) and while us adults were already excited for the tour, the teens said it was so much more fun then they were expecting. Our tour guide, Karlson, was extremely funny and it was lovely that both our guide and driver ate with us and shared stories of the area and their childhood growing up here. We definitely recommend the tour.

5.00An amazing evening with Karlson! It was such a great to go to food stops that tourists don't know about and to know that some of them have been serving the same high quality food for a long time. Karlson was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to plan around our food preferences and dietary restrictions, so that we could relax and enjoy everything that was put in front of it. Everything was so delicious! It was also fantastic to have a local guide who could answer all our questions about KL and all manner of subjects! Really glad we did this tour! I've never been so full in my life!

5.00We had a fun evening with Ari. He introduced us to an Indian eatery followed by a Chinese followed by a Malay. Not only did he introduce us to food, he also gave us insight to the local culture and pointed out sights as we passed them. Very worthwhile tour.

5.00We had an excellent evening with Carlson - made very personal as my husband and I were the only guests! He kept us informed that he was caught in traffic and would be a few minutes late picking us up. We visited a traditional Malaysian street food market, then an Indian restaurant and finally a Chinese one. It was great to have such a knowledgeable guide, telling us all about the food we were eating. It was an unexpected bonus that Carlson gave us a quick tour around some of the street in Chinatown, with a commentary. He was very informative and friendly and I would not hesitate recommending him.

5.00I had a great time on this food tour! Ari was a super guide: nice, prepared and able to involve everyone. The food was all great, but a special mention goes absolutely to the Malaysian dishes, which were my absolute favorites. Highly recommended if you want to discover the true flavors of the place!

5.00We met Ari who took us to dinner in places we would not have considered as tourists. The street food we tasted is really great, especially the Malaysian one, very rich in flavors. We were only in pairs, so the portions were very plentiful. You have to pay attention to this, because at the end of the evening we ate really a lot! The guide was attentive to our needs, considerate, and told us many things about Malaysian life and culture. In short, an unconventional tour highly recommended.

5.00This was our second time joining this tour with Charles. We first experienced it in 2022 and enjoyed it so much that it was an easy choice to do it again when we returned to KL. Charles is incredibly knowledgeable and guides you like an old friend, leading you through diverse neighbourhoods and cuisines with ease. A fun, engaging, and informative evening — highly recommended!
