La Boca de Yasica
The tour takes you to Islabon, the ecological park is adjacent to the river Jacqueline which flows into the larger river Yasica. You will get a guided tour through the park with its animals, birds, plants, trees and fruits ( coffee, rice, cocoa, bananas, etc. ) After the tour follows a boat ride through the jungle area where the rivers Yasica and Jacqueline find their way to the Atlantic. Lunch will be served when you are back from the boat ride. It is a wonderful day for both adults and children. You will experience the beauty of the countryside of Dominican Republic. Everything is simple, almost primitive, Dominican decorated.

5.00We did this tour to the estuary of the Yásica river with Richard from Erictoursinternational. First we had an informative round in the botanical gardens of Ruddy Martínez Juma, full of fruits herbs and medicinal plants. And then a wonderful boattour to where the Yásica meets the ocean, through the swamps. Great way to spend the morning and finished with nice lunch at Ruddy’s. www.erictoursinternational is a dedicated Tour service in Sosúa with Richard as a very knowledgeable guide who has lived 27 years in the DR now.
