There are so many different rainforest tours being offered, its hard to choose. We are so glad we picked this one. We are early 60s, normal shape. Some of the other tour descriptions sounded a bit too difficult. If that is your concern, this is the hiking experience for you. It is a perfect hike through the rainforest. The path is perfect with a narrow sidewalk all the way up. Not a muddy, slippery mess like some of the other paths. We covered a long distance but at a relaxed pace. The views from the top are fantastic. Our guide, Diana, was funny and very knowledgable about everything we saw. You will learn about the island and the rainforest. I was interested in a swim, my wife was not. Many of the other tours focus on jumping or sliding or cave swimming, if that is important to you, maybe pick a different tour, because the swim is not the main event here. If you want a complete rainforest hike at a relaxed pace and stunning views with a refreshing swim at the end, this is the one for you. The transport was clean and modern. The lunch stop was good. When we finished, I knew we made the right choice. Also, they pick up from more hotels than are listed on the Viator site. Just contact them. We were at the Sheraton, which is not listed as an option, but they do pick up from here.

The tour to El Yunque Rainforest was incredible with Diana as the tour guide who was very informative and knowledgable. It was my first time in a rainforest and it couldn't been better. My 2025 trip to Puerto Rico was AMAZING and would do it all over again.

We booked this tour through our resort, and were very happy with how convenient the experience was. We were picked up directly from our hotel, and our guide Diana gave us an overview of PR history and geography in the 45 min drive to El Yunque. While some of the planned trails were inaccessible due to the impacts of hurricane Erin the weekend before our tour, Diana did an amazing job adapting the route and made sure we had a great time. She was also so talented at spotting plenty of wildlife! We ended the tour with swimming and had a quiet ride back to the city. 10/10 would recommend!

Luis is the best! An immersive excursion into the rain forest, pointing out to many animals hiding in plain. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient and certainly never a dull moment . It makes you appreciate the El Yunque to a much more profound level. 6/5 stars.

We had Luis and he was great. He really knew the biodiversity of the forest and took his time on the hike to share a variety of bugs, snails, and unique plants. Definitely a good tour if you want to have a better understanding of the rainforest.

Luis was a fantastic and engaging tour guide. You can clearly tell he lives this island. He wanted to tell us all about the many critters in the island rainforest and took his time to explain things.

Earlier in the morning, Luis texted us about the pick-up, which was so helpful. Then we started our tour. He ensured everyone in the group was okay during our hike, taking us to a place where we would pick different foods. He explained a lot of important things about Puerto Rico, plus helping us with pictures was a plus. Thank you so much for a wonderful Day Luis.

We really enjoyed this excursion. We went with our 4 and 7 year old and this one was perfect for them. It started with a ride in a van from our hotel to El Yunque. Then, we did a hike through the rainforest (about 45 minutes loop). We got to see a river, but could not do any swimming (which I hear the water is cold anyway). Then, we drove to a beautiful lookout point. Then, we stopped at some food huts on the way back for some local treats (about 30 minutes). The tour guide was very knowledgeable and great at pointing out wildlife we may have missed, but he was a bit preachy which rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, great experience though.
