Three hour rental route: Take state street from store west toward the Pier. Turn left toward East Beach and take the Cabrillo Bike path, past the zoo, to Butterfly Beach in Montecito, most of which is a dedicated path. Turn back and head along the ocean, past the Harbor, up to Shoreline Park for an amazing view.
