Although reading and writing practices are included in the program, our main objective is to make the student feel comfortable speaking English as if they were using it every day. We focus on oral practice: speaking — listening. Classes are taught entirely in English, and within this context of immersion you will learn to think and speak in the language.

What To Expect
The English courses at Vamos English Academy have six levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Pre-Intermediate (B1), Intermediate (B1 +), Upper-Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) Students under the category of Higher (C2) often take individual classes or in private groups, as they have specific goals of preparing for an international exam or are planning to move to an English speaking country. Each level is organized according to the competencies of the students and where they most need assistance to be effective in communication. The advantage of this framework is that it mainly considers what a student can currently do with the language and where he wants or needs to be in terms of ability. Although different parts of the language system (grammar, vocabulary, etc.) are discussed in our classes, our levels primarily indicate the ability of students to function in communicative contexts. Our professors and academic staff will be more than happy to give you tips so you can make the most of your time studying!

5.00My Spanish teacher (alejandra) was awesome! She was very kind and explained difficult topics very well. She created a very welcoming atmosphere in the class, where every student had a judgement free environment to try to speak Spanish. She also was very responsive to what the students were curious about. She even stayed after class with me one day and explained a topic in greater depth to help me understand. Will not disappoint if looking for a good Spanish lesson experience in Buenos Aires. Also, if you pay in cash, they will give you free 1 and 1/2 hour of private lessons.

5.00The classes were great fun, and we learned a huge amount of Spanish in a v short timespan. On top of that, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommended

5.00I am really very happy with the institute and the modality of the classes. I was able to practice English with different teachers (Frederick, Ty), from different countries in order to improve my English and be able to adapt to different accents. I have been studying online for 2 years and in the last few months I started with teacher James, who comes from England, and is really excellent. The classes are very dynamic and personalized. It is the best way to learn the English that is actually spoken.

5.00I joined at Vamos during 2021 for learning english, and the experience has been amazing. I want to thank all of my teachers throughout this journey (Maria, Camila, Frederick, Ty, and Taine), their effort allowed me to improve my english and be more confident.
