What To Expect
Erciyes (Argaeus) Mountain Ski Tour from Cappadocia starts with your pick up from your hotel or airport. We will continue towards Erciyes Mountain. Argaeus (Erciyes) Volcano is the highest and most famous volcano in Cappadocia and last smoked 2,000 years ago. Although it is a dormant volcano today, it is still impressive with its wonderful quality snow for skiing. On the way, you will see how much the silk road has changed in the last 800 years. Instead of camels and horses, it has become one of the most important highways in Turkey for trucks, buses, cars, etc. We pass through small villages and towns and see the local people. After arriving at the volcano, you will go to rent equipment such as skis. You will learn how to ski in half an hour under the leadership of one of the ski instructors. Then you are ready to have fun in the snow. You will have about three hours of skiing experience and try other activities. Would you like to share this experience with us now? 5.00Erciyes is a great spot for skiing and snowboarding with wide, well-groomed slopes and amazing mountain views. The lifts are modern and fast, so you don’t waste time waiting, and the snow quality is usually very good. It’s suitable for all levels, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced.
