We had a beautiful day to enjoy this ride. Our guide Kevin was helpful and informative and timed our stops so that we were always engaged. I don’t ride bikes, but I was very comfortable on the e-bike and it did not require a lot of effort. Would definitely do it again.

Great way to see the countryside of The Netherlands including the windmills, waterways and farmlands along with the locks, Monet's home and the shipyards. Very informative and fun! Corbin was a great guide!

As avid rail-trail bicyclists in the United States, my husband and I were looking for an enjoyable tour away from the urban bicyclists of Amsterdam. After reading many reviews, we chose Those Amsterdames for their “Escape Amsterdam: E-Bike to Zaanse Schans Windmills & Zaandam” tour due to their overwhelmingly positive ratings and reviews. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. Kevin and Kendra have chosen a convenient location, close to Centraal Station and are establishing an excellent business. Our tour leader, Kevin, had mapped out a beautiful interconnecting route that took us through neighborhoods, parks and pathways, by farmland, along canals, stopping at sites of historic significance and even a working windmill. The pace was perfect, enjoyable and relaxing. We saw birds, waterfowl, spring wildflowers and magnificent cloud formations. Kevin was so in tune with our group, using kindness and good humor to make sure everyone was enjoying the adventure. This tour was the first time that my husband and I used e-bikes and Kevin was very supportive in helping us with the transition. Also, the bikes available at Those Asterdames are in excellent condition. We did this tour near the end of our stay in Amsterdam and my husband and I both agreed that we would have gone for a ride with Kevin one or two more times because bicycle trails change with the day and he is such a joy to cycle with. Thank you Kevin. Enjoy the ride!

Best thing we have done in Amsterdam! Kevin was knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to a windmill from the 1500's which was very special. He obviously enjoys his job and is well suited to this with his friendliness Would recommend this tour!!

This was the highlight of our Amsterdam trip. Our guide Gabe was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. He took a novice rider (myself) on a safe, step-by-step journey. The views on this trip were majestic and the activity was fun. We got to visit a functioning Windmill and meet the operator, Marcel, who showed us how a Water Mill functioned. We saw many windmills during our ride and had a delicious lunch at a stop along the way. This is a 5 Star experience. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Kevin, created a safe and welcoming environment from the very first moment upon arrival. The path was an interesting blend of countryside, small villages, and towns, peppered with perfectly spaced stops. Wish we had more time do another one!
