Embark on this tour to see the cultural essence of Mumbai. From the century old Dabbawallas who has been delivering tiffins using Local trains and cycles to the Simple coding to figure out the location of delivering the tiffin. You will also be visiting the Dhobighat and take a detailed tour from Inside of the Laundromat. The highlight of this trip is the Visiting and getting to know the life and culture of one of the earliest inhabitants of the City The Koli community. There's a lot more to explore and experience, let us not spill al the beans and keep some surprises for you.

What To Expect
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel or airport or train station and will start this cultural experience of Mumbai tour. The tour begins by visiting the Koli community of Mumbai, here you be interacting with locals and get to know more about living in fast moving Mumbai City. Next we will go to the train station to see how the Dabbawallas work. Dabbawallas are the tiffin carriers and have been doing this from a century.You will take a train ride to reach dhobighat and over here we will take a insiders tour of the laundromat and not just see from above. We will visit a Indian restaurant for Lunch. Post Lunch We will visit a Gaushala, Gaushalas are protective shelters for cows in India. they focus on treating cows well, because of their religious significance in Hinduism and consequent cultural sensitivity towards their welfare. Towards the end of the tour you will be dropped at your hotel or if you have any places to visit we will be happy to add it to the tour.

5.00My guide, Dinesh and driver, Jamal, gave me the best day in Mumbai that I could imagine. We drove, walked, rode a train and explored so many different corners of this enormous city. Dinesh was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He really loves his city and it shows. Jamal is a fantastic and very safe driver. Both were punctual and made the day fly by. Be sure to book this tour if you want a good introduction to many of the interesting parts of Mumbai.

5.00We had a full day tour with Meze was exceptional. His English was brilliant and he explained everything perfectly. He didn't rush anything and he took as much time as we needed to understand the various parts of the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed my day, we covered so much. Mez was a wonderful young man, very respectful and polite. Our driver, I think his name was Aslan was also so good. They both really liked after us and gave us a truly memorable day - thank you

5.00We did a 2 day tour with Alan. It included cultural experiences and food experiences. He is the most excellent tour guide we have had on our island hopping journey. Great cultural and historical knowledge. Knows the good food places. Patient, thoughtful, helpful. We even took a train ride. I would highly recommend going with him in Mumbai.

5.00How lucky was I to be connected with Alam as my personal guide while I was in Mumbai. Not only did he agree to meet me the day I arrived with only a few hours notice, he spent three days with me to offer a comprehensive experience. I was visiting during Diwali and Alam me advised on where to go each day, including personalized Diwali experiences. He even brought fireworks to the Diwali celebration for me. His in depth knowledge of where to go and most importantly when, customizing each day to my personal interests was so appreciated. We explored the city by night, a Buddhist temple at 7:30am, and I was the first international visitor into the National Park to visit the Buddhist caves and a host of other sights. If you are looking for the perfect guided experience I could not more highly recommend Alam and his colleagues more — truly. He takes a lot of personal pride in showcasing Mumbai. He was on time and has an impeccable knowledge of how to navigate the city by air conditioned car. You will not meet a better guide — personal or as a group.

5.00I took the day tour of all the local highlights with Rameez as the guide and Ayyappan as the driver. This was a great team who worked well together. Rameez was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites and took some great photos of me as I was traveling alone that day. He also took me to a great place for some street food when I told him I was hungry. Ayyappan was a wonderful driver who navigated the crazy streets of Mumbai with ease. If I’m ever back in Mumbai and take another tour, I will definitely request these two .

5.00We met representatives from Amaze outside the green gate at the cruise terminal. A driver took us to meet our guide at the laundry. Unlike many other tours we got to go inside the laundry. It was amazing to see the people working inside. Then we asked to see the slums. Our guide, Geneshe, gave us an unbelievable tour. It was obvious that he had a lot of love and respect for the people working and living there. We rode the train and ate a meal in a restaurant. I felt like we had the best guide in all of India!

5.00We were in Mumbai for 2 days from a cruise. The information provided before arrival was very good. We were met by our guide Danesh. He was excellent and very informative. Our group of 4 in a taxi did everything and more provided by the cruise. In fact the company provided guides for the cruise tour . Our experience was very personal, we could ask as many questions as we wanted. Please do not hesitate in using this company .

5.00A group of 18 adults took the 1 day tour with Amaze Tours thru Viator. We booked this tour prior to our Dubai/India cruise. Our tour guide Ahad was friendly; knowledgeable and responsible. The tour started from the cruise terminal at 9am to 4pm in the afternoon. it was a full day itinerary, Ahad took us to the largest train station; Marine Road ; the richest/wealthy area to the largest Open Laundry; the poorest area. Amazing experience.
