What To Expect

6 PM- Meet our guide on the food street Hyderabad food street walk commences at one of the most popular restaurants in Hyderabad for Biriyani, an aromatic variant of rice. The Hyderabadi biryani is sprinkled with kewda, rose water and saffron. The rice is layered with golden fried onions, chillies, mint leaves and fiery chicken. Sometime Biriyani is accompanied with a form of curd.

Srinu was very knowledgeable about hyderabadi street food. He has connections with all vendors and allowed us to get a peek into how the food is actually created. He also does a great job recommending other places in the city to check out!

This was my 2nd time doing this as a private tour and the host was kind enough to customize it just for me with no repeat dishes! First we went to the spice market and he helped me order and then was SO MUCH delicious food! The host John was nice enough to ensure I wasn’t given portions that were too large, just like I requested. We also got to visit Charminar, it was a lovely tour filled with amazing food!

This was an outstanding tour! Visiting the Charminar area is wild, especially for a white person. The tour guide made me feel comfortable and took me to some great food stalls around the market area. The main meal at Shadab Biryani was AMAZING! We had mutton soup, chicken kabobs, and chicken biryani. It would have been very difficult to go to that restaurant on my own without a guide. After the meal, we had some tasty sweets nearby. Highly recommend this experience!
