We had a wonderful experience on our small group tour with our fantastic guide, Elsa. She is knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely caring. Because the group was small, she took the time to ask about our interests and what we wanted to learn, and she thoughtfully customized the tour for us. Elsa didn’t just explain the history of the sites we visited. She also shared insights into daily life in Évora, local food, regional products, and how the city has evolved over time. As an alumna of the University of Évora (the second oldest university in the country!), she added many fascinating stories and personal perspectives about the university that made the visit even more special. We spent a great afternoon with her and truly felt more connected to Évora by the end of the tour. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a meaningful, personal, and authentic experience.

Today I did a guided tour by Evora with Elsa and it was a fantastic experience! We visited the city’s most iconic sites – the Temple of Diana, the See and the Bone Chapel – always with interesting and curious explanations. Elsa has a great energy and a relaxed way of sharing what she knows, which makes everything even more enjoyable. I recommend 100% to anyone who wants to know Evora genuinely!
