It was a spectacular experience, I highly recommend. The guide, João, knows well the history and stories of Évora. We were taken to the Roman Empire and slowly returned to today.

Elsa was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. She shared so much history about each site we saw and you could tell she was passionate and proud of her city and country. We had a great two and a half hours of learning and laughing with Elsa! At the end she gave us some great recommendations for how to spend the rest of our day in Evora, including restaurants and other sites to visit.

Our tour of evora was informative, interesting and fun. Elsa our guide was friendly and very knowledgable and made the tour enjoyable with tidbits from history and great details we never would have noticed on our own. We walked for almost two hours and saw all the highlights we had come to evora to see. The range of sights from the Roman columns to the cathedral were really interesting and Elsa knew the history (going back thousands of years) and the details (a board game etched on a rock at the Roman ruins). We highly recommend the tour and Elsa as a guide and had a terrific time in evora.
