Live a unique fishing experience during your stay in Athens! Enjoy fishing, swimming and a delicious seafood meal prepared right on the boat.The trip is ideal both for experienced and first-time fishermen/women.You will be able to try different types of fishing with a variety of fishing rods,including also rods for left-handers.If weather permits it you will have the opportunity to swim in the magical blue waters or alternatively enjoy a trip with a view of the Athens Riviera. Taste the freshest fish you ever had as your meal will include the fish you got as well as Greek salad,shrimp pasta and fresh season fruit. This traditional fishing boat is harbored in Varkiza Marina, approximately 40 minutes from the center of Athens. The location is ideal because it is easy to reach and at the same time it is close to the clean waters of the Saronic Sea.The boat is very spacious and it can host up to 10 members.The trip lasts 6 hours so you will have plenty of time to enjoy your day in the sea!

Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take with you (up to 3 kilos per group). We also offer a delicious array of snacks and refreshments, including fresh fruits, traditional pies, Greek salad, and mouth-watering spaghetti with shrimps.

5.00In early April (2026) it was not that easy to find something like this. Captain Nektarios not only accepted our booking but he was willing to do so at the last minute. He does not talk much but is patient (esp with kids) and genuinely wants his guests to catch fish - without rushing anything, (His assistant is also extremely helpful). We were fortunate in that we caught a whole bunch of fish - in no small part due to Captain Nektarios being willing to make several adjustments to our position when they were not biting. On top of this, he cooked as a delicious lunch (there was something like a shrimp curry although I am sure in Greek it is called something else) plus a whole bunch of other things plus of course the fish that we caught. If you catch fish on your trip, pl request that some be done up as a simple ceviche. All the fish was good but the ceviche was the best. Highly recommended.

5.00My grandson and I took a vacation to Athens together and he selected this excursion - we are both very happy he did! The views are beautiful. The crew was exceptional! Friendly, patient, and kind. They are very knowledgeable about fishing and the area. The crew provided the support for our level of skill, and were very patient with this being my first time fishing. They were encouraging and determined that we would end the day successful - which we did! An amazing lunch of various Mediterranean dishes was prepared by our Captain including several using the fish caught that morning. At the end of the excursion we didn’t feel like it was just another vendor led tour; but rather we spent the morning talking and laughing with friends we won’t soon forget. I would highly recommend this excursion not only for the views and the fishing; but for the amazing crew.

5.00The day could not be better. Our guide was extremely kind, the fish were biting, the sun shinning. The only thing better than the fishing was lunch. A delicious feast cooked right on the boat.

5.00Constantinos (spelling?) and his uncle, the captain were warm, inviting and welcoming. The captain was very enthusiastic about making sure we got fish. There were snacks and drinks during the trip. Captain cooked a delicious meal using the red snapper that we caught about 1.3 kg. We also caught a large gilt head, maybe 1.3 kg. Caught some smaller fish that we threw back. There was salad, bread, a tomato based shrimp dish, the spinach, Filo dough things that you see all over in Greece, it was too much food! There is also a small butt clean bathroom on board, and a couple hand sanitizers on deck. I noticed the nephew use hands sanitizer throughout the trip and the captains food prep was clean and cemetery. He also scrubbed down his small galley after he prepared all the food. Nephew helped wash, dry and put away the dishes when we done eating. Will definitely do it again if we were back in Athens.

5.00This was for my brother Jim and his daughter Sandra. Here's what they wanted me to say about their wonderful fishing trip. " It was the best experience we had in Greece and that it is something we would do a hundred times over! The captain is the best there was at this and that there is no other fishing excursions like this one! You must do it if you are in Greece! It was the best food we had in Greece! Truly an amazing experience! Something unforgettable, and brought the feeling of an authentic Greek life while also being treated like kings and queens. There is no one that wants you to catch a huge fish more than the captain! His heart and soul is in this and it shows! It was the best!!"

5.00WOW!!! This trip was so so so much fun! My husband and I go on a fishing trip everywhere place we go, and the service on this trip was excellent! We caught snappers and a huge grouper! The captain and his nephew cooked the fish with another beautiful meal for us right on the boat as we were floating around the Aegean Sea. We were so impressed. Thank you for such amenities memorable trip.

5.00An excellent way to spend a day on the water and a day in Greece. Definitely going to be a highlight of my trip and I would 100% do it again or recommend it to a friend. Caught good fish, the skipper was an excellent chef and Mike went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time and learnt a thing or two. Was very satisfied with my experience, cheers guys!
