I had trouble booking the Spice Experience at the Gold Restaurant, thus turned to Viator. However, upon arrival, I discovered that, despite paying for the more expensive Spice Experience, Viator made reservations for the less expensive regular Dining Room. Viator pocketed the difference between the 2 options. Do not trust Viator to book the correct option. The Gold Restaurant itself was very much fun and a great value. I did not let Viator effect the evening.

2 weeks in Cape Town from the US: affordable, low admin fees, amazing African food. Robben islands learning some history. Giraffe Horizons tour made the trip,i highly recommend them. Mojo Market = cheap strong shots. Coming back to SA for sure!

It was an absorbing experience of varied African cuisine and drumming and face painting. We were very well attended by Queen from Gold restaurant and Tafa of Giraffe Horizons took excellent care of our reservation.
