5.00We had a private tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistene Chapel with Matteo. He really brought the whole place to life with his historic and funny tour. He made it very personal by asking us first what we most wanted to learn. He was very kind and accommodating with me, letting me sit as much as possible as I had recently hurt my back. We learned so much about the history, the art, and so many other things. I'd never have learned this much on my own, and I suspect the audio guide would miss the nuances that really made this tour special. He gave us plenty of time to take photos and offered to take photos of us as we went through. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to take a deep dive into the Vatican museums. Honestly one of the best tour guides I've ever had and probably the best tour I've ever taken (and I've done many throughout Europe). Thank you so much Matteo and Liv tours for being so well organized and for such an incredibly memorable and amazing tour!

5.00Fabrizio (with Liv Tours) was fantastic. He has a background in archaeology and history, so he was very knowledgeable. He was also very personable and fun. This tour is highly recommended. But know that this is not really an “after hours” tour, it is the last timed entry of the day, so there are many fewer people.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour led by Ilaria. She was very thorough and knowledgeable about the artifacts and history of the Vatican. She was also very thoughtful about having my 85 year old mother with us by checking in and allowing us to take breaks. I would recommend this tour and Ilaria to my friends and family.

4.00The initial meeting point was easy to find. The wait to enter the facility is out of doors so prepare for the elements. The tour itself was crowded but that's on the Vatican not the company. Yes, it is beautiful and a unique experience but in Rome, therr are many such experiences. I did feel rushed but again, that's not on the company. Rebecca did well in the limited time she had. She's clearly very knowledgeable on the subject matters. If you plan on using a taxi to and from the joining points, prepare for "dealing with Rome's taxi drivers."
