We had a great experience in our market tour. It was lovely getting to know our guide, and learning more about the local culture, while also learning about and tasting must have foods in Budapest. (The market itself is also an event to experience.) Highly recommend to kick of your visit to the district or city.

Agnes was knowledgeable and fun to be with. She shared all kinds of stories about how to cook with spices, vegetables and body parts of animals we don’t use in the US. I highly recommend this experience!

Agnes was fantastic! She is very knowledgeable about the Market, foods of Hungary and the culture. On top of that she was easy to understand and very gracious. We loved her and the market.

Very fun tour around the historic Budapest Market. Tour guide provided a few well selected items from the market for us to taste including Palinka, a traditional Hungarian brandy made from fruit that is 50% alcohol by volume (that was fun!!). Strongly recommend this guided tour with Agnes.

It was such a great experience! We tasted a lot of new products and could ask all our questions. Received great cooking tips and shopping at the market was so much easier after the tour :D

I'm so happy we booked a tour and tasting instead of walking around ourselves. the Market is enormous, with so much to see and taste. Agnes, our tour guide was excellent - proud of her heritage and food culture. We tasted so much - deep fried flatbread with cheese and garlic ( lngos); several strudels; savory scones; sausages and chimney cake. We also learned about the handicrafts and why paprika is such an important spice in Hungarian cooking. Just excellent!

Andrew's excellent knowledge of the food and Hungarian culture made this a superb tour. He stopped at various stalls for us to savour traditional food, and paid particular note to the ingredients as I am vegan. Thank you Andrew ❤
