Enjoy an unparalleled experience with us:
Combine the world-famous Neuschwanstein castle (incl. GUARANTEED SKiP-THE-LINE admission) with a most spectacular feat of engineering:
The 114m (374 ft) high & over 400m (1,300 ft) long "Highline 179" is one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world!
It stands in exciting contrast to King Ludwig II's fairytale castle in medieval design. During the included tour of the interiors, learn how the tech-loving king turned NEUSCHWANSTEIN into a high-tech castle.
Just a few minutes' drive away is: THE BRIDGE - Crossing this imposing steel construction secured with 8 rock anchors is not for the faint of heart – ADRENALINE KICK HERE WE COME! Due to the high safety railings with netting it is completely safe, even for children! And it is open all year round.
If you suffer from fear of heights, you can admire this masterpiece from numerous vantage points - such as the 700-year old castle ruin EHRENBERG - without ever setting foot on it!
Wheelchair accessible
Specialized infant seats are available
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Are you able to walk slightly uphill from the car park to Neuschwanstein castle (approx. 1,5 km/1mile in an hour's time)? (If not, the horse carriage or the Shuttle bus (not operating during snow and ice) must be used – anyway, an approx. 450 meters/0.28 miles uphill walk (up to 15 % slope) or an approx. 500 meters/0.31 miles downhill walk (up to 19 % gradient) from the respective terminal to the entrance of the castle have to be managed in any case!) Your guide can assist your group to make sure that you'll find your way. - In Neuschwanstein castle there are 346 stairs alltogether (up and down) to be managed. If this is too much for you and if you have an appropriate medical certificate of disability or resstriction of mobility or similar (must be scanned and posted in advance), an exclusive lift service only for you with a maximum of one companion, accompanied by a castle-staff could be booked. The elevator service is without additional costs, but the number of tours with that service is very limited and must be reconfirmed by the castle authorities. PLEASE NOTE: If you may need the lift service please inform us IMMEDIATELY after your booking! - To Hohenschwangau castle there is a carriage service (not in winter season) almost from door-to-door. You have to climb stairs up to the 3rd floor and back (no elevator).

We had the most amazing day! Our guide, Karl was so much fun! We were a group of 8 adults- He picked us up from our hotel for the 2 hour drive from Munich, keeping us well entertained the whole way with info as well as some car karaoke! We stopped at a breathtaking lake in Austria on our way to the suspension bridge. Karl helped us purchase the tickets and gave very clear instructions. Then we drove on for our tour of Neuschwanstein Castle. Beautiful! Again, Karl was very helpful, coordinating our tickets and planning out the visit for us. He took all the stress out of trying to figure it out on our own. On our way back to Munich we stopped to check out the alpine coaster, and with almost no wait time we jumped on and took a thrilling ride! Such a great way to end the day! If you have the chance to book a private tour with Karl, do it- you won’t be disappointed!!

Neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles were amazing! Stefan drove us around a beautiful lake-very relaxing. Also saw the outside of Linderhof palace (wish we would have booked the 11 hour so we could go in). Ettal Abbey finished our trip. Highly recommend!
