You will be picked up from Marrakech in the morning to start your journey to Essaouira. Stop for a coffee break followed by a visit to a women’s argan oil co-operative on the way. Arrive in Essaouira and set out for a city tour.
Visit the skala, famous for its rows of gigantic cannons that faces out to the Atlantic ocean. Tour a municipal market, visit the jewellery district and discover Moroccan craft shops in the medina. There are plenty of fine seafood restaurants in the city to choose from for your lunch (own expense).
After your break, resume your tour and explore the main square, which is just across the port and where most cafes, patisseries and restaurants are located. The rest of the day is spent at leisure for you to enjoy the charm of this resort before making your way back to Marrakech in the evening, where your tour will end.

Medina of Essaouira
Travel from the desert to the sea on a guided, full-day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira, and explore an ancient city in a stunning landscape. Visit the artisans that harvest argan oil and Moroccan rugs, and discover Essaouira’s most vivid sights. Walk along the bristling cannons of the harbor-side skala and discover the town’s souks, where vendors display aromatic spices, brilliant cloth and gleaming silver. Step beneath the stone arch of the old gates, and study traditional weapons and elaborate costumes at the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdalla Museum.

5.00A very beautiful city, the journey there was fun and insightful. The city itself is very beautiful and I recommend the day trip there. Karim knows the city very well and explained everything very well. He is friendly, polite and always happy to help when needed. There isn't a question he couldn't answer.

5.00The tour was really nice karim was very helpfull, chatty and alive. We misunderstood the distance of our trip prior to meeting karim and had to change plans. Karim was understanding and helped organise a last minute surfing trip which was amazing.
