La Plata Waterfall is the highest in Tolima and measures 490 meters high, a majestic natural work. The tour starts in Aima Ibagué, we will take a typical Jeep, special for our adventure and then we will start the walk to the beautiful waterfall In this adventure we will discover the jungle of the humid tropical forest and we will see flora and fauna of the ecosystem that protects this charming natural landscape.

5.00La Plata waterfall is a must-see if you are traveling through Ibague. It’s like experiencing something straight out of a National Geographic magazine, or an episode of Planet Earth. The waterfall is so gigantic that it will make you feel insignificant and have you contemplating the universe. WOW! It’s gorgeous. There are plenty of bird species to spot along the path for all the bird lovers out there. Plus, there is a cute little restaurant near the top with hammocks, fresh juice, or an adult beverage, which will give you a chance to recharge for the final push to the pinnacle. Seriously, check this waterfall out, you will not be disappointed. Cheers!

5.00Beautiful waterfall and great hike. Really pretty views and just the right length, it’s easily doable in a few hours but still enough to make you tired. Really beautiful place
