This was an exceptional experience from the very beginning to the very end! When the ship docked there was absolute chaos at the port with hundreds of passengers disembarking only to be met by hundreds of drivers, taxis, vendors, and all sorts of other people. Our guide was ready and waiting and had a sign with our name on it and found us immediately. We set off in a very comfortable SUV with our guide Bohari and our driver Ilan they both spoke excellent English and we’re very informative as we traveled around Lombok learning of the Indonesian and Islamic culture there and visiting some of the wonderful highlights of this beautiful island. The waterfalls were unbelievably magnificent, and I would highly suggest paying to ride on the back of the scooter to the Falls! We also visited a very beautiful Hindu water temple spent ample time walking around and enjoying each of these attractions. The tour was perfectly paste very comfortable comfortable in the vehicle that we had had and both our guide and driver were knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun. There were ships tours available, but I think having the more personal touch and interactivity of this excursion is the only way I would ever go in the future! Without any hesitation I highly recommend this tour if you get the opportunity to visit this beautiful island!

Check that the driver speaks English prior to booking. Would avoid the carving as it was a large pottery shop. Also check which temple you're going to...we did not go to one advertised Viator have given partial refund

A lot of steps to the waterfalls but worth every one. Dayat, our driver was great, very engaging and gave us a really good insight into life in Lombok. We even stopped to try local fresh fruit on route, beautiful island and wonderful people. Thank you again Dayat.

We had a terrific time in Lombok. Our guide was Tamat and he was professional and fun. This tour included an interesting temple with a well informed guide. The waterfall visit was not great because of the weather. That was a 90 minute drive each way. I would suggest dropping that during rainy season. The highlight was the visit to the weaving village. The women there were so welcoming and engaging as well as talented. We ended up buying some beautiful things. The pottery village was not nearly as fun but still interesting.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Picked up promptly at the pier and off to a weaving community in Sukarara VIllage to watch a very informative demonstration. The shop had many nice hand made items for sale. Next stop was the Benang Kelambu waterfall. This where the excursion got very interesting. For the small sum of $5 USD, you could take a 7 minute ride on the back of a scooter instead of walking uphill for 35 minutes. Great value, except for unsteady feeling for the entire ride. Well we survived getting to the waterfall and then had to endure another 200+ steps. You'll need to take a few breaks with the heat and humidity working against you as well. Beautiful waterfall frequented by mostly locals, tour buses can't navigate here. Next stop was Lingsar temple. We "bathed" in the holy water here with hopes of a rewarding new year. Last stop was the Banyumulek pottery village and a hands on demo of making pottery. My wife made a small bowl, with assistance, on the potters wheel and had a great time. Our guide was very nice and kept offering for us to stop for lunch but we were tired after the waterfall adventure and declined the extra stop. The driver did stop and purchase some local fruits to sample which was very interesting. Would highly recommend over a ship's tour bus. We were able to drive down roads that I can't imagine a tour bus could negotiate. The scenery of rice fields and terraced gardens throughout the day was great!

A good excursion showing us different aspects of life in Lombok Quite a bit of driving though so it was a pleasant relief when we got to the waterfall and was able to stretch our legs and have a pleasant leisurely lunch
