What To Expect

Our meeting point is at Sao Conrado Beach at the Free Flight Club. Where we will fill out a registration and pay a compulsory insurance that is NOT included in the Vacation Package of 121 Reals. Afterwards we climbed with our driver to the take-off ramp at Beautiful Stone. On the beach of Sao Conrado is also located the end of our activity, where the landing of Parapente and Asa Delta takes place, after the flight the video images are recorded and delivered immediately to the passengers, we need on average at least 4 gigas of memory on the phone. We have option to purchase extra memory like pen drives and memory cards.

I recommend the experience. It makes me want to do it again somewhere else. The takeoff is truly sensational, and organizing it with Viator is simple. However, it's still quite expensive, especially considering the 360° images offered.

Unskippable experience if you're visiting Rio! The waiting experience is a bit confusuing since the runners are independent, but they take safety and the customer experience extremely seriously. Fully recording is included just make sure to move your camera around since your responsible for capturing your own footage. Both session runners were super cool and reassuring, would 1000% recommend

My partner and I booked the hang gliding trip after travelling South America all the way from Australia only to be let down by this tour and not complete the hang gliding. After some pour weather in the morning there was some delays and flights couldn’t take off until later and this company took the opportunity to heavily persuade us into changing from hang gliding to para gliding as the “weather wasn’t good enough”. We reluctantly said yes to make sure we could still go however so many other groups were still taking off well before us and doing hang gliding. This company has extremely poor communication and organisation skills. It was lucky for our two pilots who saved the day and gave us an amazing para gliding flight otherwise this would have been a disaster.

Agent kept pushing for para gliding despite our clear written instructions for hang gliding and perfect weather conditions with green flags.. flight was only 4 mins , we were told it's over 10 mins... and most dadly, we were there from 9:45am to 2pm.. all this after paying $1200, prebooked, pre paid and had left 5 family members - small kids and parents - back at the hotel for over 6 hrs..

Amazing experience with my adults children. Comfortable ride up to launch site. Luis and Claude are both very nice. Felt at ease. Be flexible as have to take nature (change in wind, strength of wind) into account for flight time but otherwise great experience. Sao Conrado Beach is beautiful so a bonus.

It was the best experience! Working with Luis and his team was phenomenal. This was my second time coming back to Rio and did paragliding before but this time I did have gliding and my partner did paragliding and we enjoyed Luis and his team! We will be back!

Three of us went for the hang gliding experience. We got there very early but the weather wasn't right for it. So we waited some time for it that morning to get better. Positives; the instructors explained everything that was going on. They go through a training exercise to prepare you. There was a small cafe on top of the mountain. Cons, we only got 2 instructors for 3 people. We had to wait some time for the third person to come down from the mountain. The overall experience was adrenaline filled and we got good videos from it.
