Confidence and his partner Alex were fantastic during my trip to Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and Ghana. They are professionals who know the area and the itineraries very well. They made the trip virtually hassle free, I'd highly recommend them and I look forward to returning in the future to explore the area more in depth!

We just recently went on a 10 day tour with Confidence and Alex, covering Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria. Thanks to Confidence and Alex, we had amazing experiences in these countries and saw places that would otherwise not have been that easy to see as foreigners (such as local neighborhoods and slums). Both Confidence and Alex did a solid job in showing us West Africa and helped us whenever we had questions about culture, food and the people. They are very reliable and the tour was very reasonably priced and perfectly tailored to our desires. We always felt super safe on our trip with them. We can 100% recommend Ucomeafrik and will certainly book our next trip in another West African country with them. Thank you Condidence & Alex, hope to see you soon again!

I did a 7D6N trip across Lagos, Benin and Togo. The trip was well executed throughout, led by Vincent (born and bred Nigerian), and Albert (French-speaking Togolese). They both went through great effort to make sure that all matters were well sorted, included the border and customs checks (esp the infamous one leading from Badagry to the Seme border). Their chemistry was great, and it felt like going on a road trip with friends. They also had excellent knowledge of the area, addressing any questions I had about the history and culture of the region. I’d highly recommend the company to anyone visiting West Africa.

Traveling to Nigeria and Ghana requires visas (US passport) and they are not easy to get. I took this private 4-country tour with Confidence and he arranged everything for me. The moment I arrived at Lagos airport, VOA officer from Confidence’s contact helped me get the visa within 15 minutes, then I was taken to immigration and customs without waiting in line. Same great treatment entering Ghana by land. The tour was packed with many stops, and it was not just the “slave trade history” from Badagry to Cape Coast that i learned so much about. I also visited the orphanage inside Makoko in Lagos, Ganvie, sacred forest, and python temple in Benin, Fetish Market in Togo… all in private vehicles with a driver and a multi-lingual fixes/guides. I highly recommend booking this tour with Confidence! Oh, his price is very reasonable, too.

Confidence and Alex were a great company throughout our trip. They handled our visas for Ghana, they gave us the docuemnts needed for the Nigerian visa, and took us to the best places in the itinerary and attended our needs and interests. They took care of us and made us feel safe. What we saw in those countries was interesting and tough. The slavery tours were mindopening and harsh, but necessary. Benin was very lovely with Ouidah being quaint and religious, the sea was beautiful along the coast.

Wow, this was an amazing trip. Every site was pure magic and Confidence & Alex really made sure the details came together before and during the tour. I’ve traveled in over 100 countries and W Africa has some of the trickiest visas & border crossings I’ve ever experienced. I’m so grateful that they made the process more streamlined so I could enjoy my time and not stress over the details. This journey was inspiring & humbling. The people were kind and so unique. Even though there was a set itinerary, there was always room for spontaneous stops (like at the longest street art wall in Africa!) I cannot wait to tour with Confidence / UComeAfrik again one day. Do not hesitate to book this adventure if you’re interested in visiting these countries! It’s incredible.

We had most amazing through West Africa with Confidence and Alex. The hotel recommendations were excellent. Confidence assisted us booking some hotels as some are not available on the U.S. travel web sites. The Visas on arrival in Nigeria and Ghana were done professionally. We need expert guide like Confidence to get us through all the border numerous check points safely. All the food were clean and safe to eat in the hotels recommended by Confidence. We had a wonderful time learning about history, cultures, customs through West Africa. Confidence is the guide that conducted all the tours according to schedule adjusting for the weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and traveling through West Africa with a relaible expert is a must. Thank You for the Wonderful time!!!

If you’re interested in visiting West Africa there’s no better guide than Confidence and his team! We reached out to customize his multi-country tour, extending by a few days and adding some activities we couldn’t possibly miss out on while visiting this part of Africa, like a Nigerian cooking class (which we highly recommend!). We had an incredible tour with Confidence and Alex through Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana. We are a couple that loves adventure travel and experiencing lesser-visited parts of the world to learn more about these places and let others know there’s so much more to see than what you may expect. We quickly learned that it would have been challenging to navigate West Africa on our own. Throughout our journeys Confidence and Alex always made sure we were safe, well cared for, excellently navigated the roads and checkpoints, assisted with all border crossings and were flexible in making adjustments to our day-to-day plans based on how much energy we had in the heat. We can’t thank you enough for this unforgettable experience! For anyone who is interested in visiting West Africa, you won’t find a better guide!

My husband and I recently returned from the trip of a lifetime - a 13-day custom tour through Ghana, Benin and Togo with UcomeAfrik Tours. From start to finish, this travel company provided an exceptional experience that opened our eyes to the rich cultures and history of these amazing West African nations. Our journey began in Ghana, where we had the privilege of visiting an orphanage and donating much-needed supplies to the children there - an experience that will stay with us forever. Confidence and Alex, our incredible tour guides, facilitated this opportunity and so many more throughout the trip. Their knowledge and passion West Africa was evident as they shared insight into local traditions, daily life, historic sites and so much more. The itinerary that Confidence designed was perfectly tailored to our interests, yet still allowed flexibility to explore places off the beaten path. The transportation provided was comfortable and we always felt safe as we traveled across borders thanks to the expertise of Alex and Confidence. No question went unanswered by these two - they graciously entertained our endless inquiries and provided fascinating context about everything we encountered. Their kindness and professionalism was much appreciated. When we initially began researching tour companies for this trip, we were quite cautious given the complex logistics of an international multi-country tour. UcomeAfrik Tours immediately stood out as a reputable and experienced! We are so grateful we selected them. From start to finish, they delivered an authentic, eye-opening and tremendously rewarding experience. We cannot recommend Ucomeafrik, and especially Confidence and Alex, highly enough to anyone seeking to explore West Africa. Their commitment to responsible tourism and creating enriching experiences is truly impressive. We hope to have the opportunity to travel with them again someday.
