5.00We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Gubei Water Town and the Simatai Great Wall with Linda! From start to finish, the trip was seamless. Linda’s expert timing was the highlight of the day; she paced everything perfectly so that we reached the summit of the Great Wall exactly as the sun began to set. Watching the golden hour light hit the ramparts was a breathtaking experience that we will never forget. Linda is professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and informed throughout the tour.

5.00It was truly an amazing experience. We went on a cold and windy evening but that just made the entire experience at Simatai really awesome as it was quite a buzz taking steps on the rugged path on the wall in that condition. The Great wall also looks incredibly beautiful at night. It was a totally different experience from Mutianyu which we went earlier in the week during the day. Our tour guide Linda walk and hike all along the path with us while telling us about the history of the Great Wall. She's very informative, thorough, thoughtful and responsible with the planning of our tour to Gubei water town and Simatai. (She doesn't take short cuts!)

5.00Had a truly amazing experience with our tour guide, Linda, who was very knowledgeable in explaining about the history behind the Simatai section of the Great Wall. Knowing that we were were traveling with 2 young kids aged 8 &11, she proposed 2 options for our consideration, a daytime option and an afternoon/night option that would enable us to view the Great Wall at night. We opted for the night option and it was a truly magical experience that we will not forget. Walking through Beijing Gubei Water Town, there were so many interesting shops to browse and nooks and crannies to explore. Ending the tour with a cable car ride then trek up to the Simatai section of the Great Wall was one of the best experiences that we had in Beijng. Would highly recommend Linda for this cultural and historical experience in Beijing!
