5.00A fantastic experience! The crossing was super comfortable and flew by! The ship is equipped with absolutely everything you need: bars, restaurants, casinos, etc. IMPORTANT: boarding closes 20 minutes BEFORE departure. After that, you can no longer board the ship. This was NOT made clear enough on the website. I arrived just in the nick of time and was told that if I’d been a minute later, I wouldn’t have been able to board the ship. This really needs to be highlighted.

5.00We chose this ferry service for its reliability and simple booking procedure and weren't disappointed. Departing ferry terminal D you will be provided with a booking ref and security code by trip advisor which you need to put into one of the many check in machines to obtain your tickets before sailing. You may then walk the short distance to the embarkation lounge. The ferry is modern, well equipped with lots of seating, shops and cafes. The journey takes around 2hours and was very calm. You arrive at the Helsinki West pier. On arrival there was no security/border check this time. There are trams and buses to the centre which can be paid for on the vehicle. The return ferry departed on time and check in was simple.

5.00Excellent ferry. From the Trip Advisor instructions you need the reference and PIN number to access the tickets at the terminal (not really clear on the information provided). Make sure you get there early as the gates close 15 mins before the departure time.

1.00Do not book with Viator. I changed the time of my crossing, they told me it was actioned but was only actually actioned after I was refused boarding and I brought it to their attention. They have since claimed that I am lying and they had changed the time - despite the check in desk showing me their screen with the incorrect time. Support are unhelpful and keen to pass the buck. Book direct with the travel company and avoid these scammers at all costs. I will never book with Viator again.
