We borrowed an e-bike for the Sakurajima circumnavigation. First of all, the people at the hotel were very, very kind. And the Taiwanese E-bike was very cool and easy to use. Everything we needed, including helmets, was included in the price. We used about 40% of our batteries on the slope to the Yunodaira Observatory on Sakurajima, and by the time we got halfway around Sakurajima, it was almost 0%. If you're not confident in your physical fitness, you should know how to ride to save battery power in advance. The manual was available on the web. Battery consumption is particularly heavy on steep slopes. The hotel let me have the battery charger just in case, so I was able to charge the kind Sakurajima person. The second half of the trip around the island was quite physically demanding as I rowed unassisted, but in the end I was able to experience the kindness of the people of Kagoshima, which was a very good memory. It was nice to rent an e-bike because I could feel the magnificence of Sakurajima volcano looking up from a casual road.

Has the greatest time hiring the bikes to go around Sukurajima volcano while visiting Kagoshima. I emailed asking to hire and ask questions and was promptly replied with co formation to be able to book. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted with a cup of coffee and an ice cream, we were taken through all rules and conditions of the bikes and then gave us emergency kit, water and chargers and off we went! The price was great and we were able to hire them for around 6 hours. We had an amazing time and the day was beautiful to see the volcano! We did run out of battery half way through but that was because we were going here there and every there, if we just road around the volcano without stops, we would have been absolutely fine with charge! Was our most fun day so far we have had being in the outdoors in beautiful Japan. Absolutely book with them they are so so kind

We really enjoyed renting e-bikes from Kagowa! From the very beginning, communication was easy and prompt. We made a reservation ahead of time and once we arrived at the meeting point, the staff helped us setting up the e-bikes. They also shared ideas for day trips and how to best explore Kagoshima. Everyone was so kind! I highly recommend renting e-bikes through Kagowa, they made our experience truly memorable!
