What To Expect
Wat Xiengthong
Wat Xieng Thong was constructed in the 16th century, specifically between 1559 and 1560, by King Setthathirath, who ruled from 1548 to 1571. The temple was built to honor the legendary King Chanthaphanith.
Royal Palace Museum
The Royal Palace now is the National Museum in Luang Prabang. It was once the residence of King Sisavang Vong who was a King of Laos for 55 years.
