After meeting with Bold Himalaya's team, you'll drive to Syabrubesi, a 6-hour journey in a shared jeep. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque mountain valleys, charming villages, rivers, and waterfalls. Once you arrive, you can spend some time exploring Syabrubesi.

After breakfast, you'll begin your trek, climbing from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m), a journey that takes about 5.5 hours. Along the way, you'll cross suspension bridges over the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Rivers and walk through dense forests teeming with diverse flora and fauna. Your day ends with an overnight stay at a tea house in Lama Hotel.

Starting with breathtaking mountain views, the trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) takes about 4.5 hours. This short and scenic journey offers panoramic vistas of Langtang Lirung, Gangchenpo, and other majestic peaks. Along the way, you'll visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa and the renowned local cheese factory.

For the adventurous, there's an optional hike to Tserko Ri (4,984m), a beautiful peak on the Langtang trekking route. This challenging trek takes 7-8 hours with a packed lunch, offering breathtaking sunrise views over the Langtang range. Alternatively, you can explore Kyanjin Gompa and Jyanni Ri, both of which offer incredible panoramic vistas, visits to nearby glaciers, and a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture.

5.00Bold Himalaya/Sorbit was particularly attuned to my needs and developed a custom trip to Langtang. My luggage did not arrive in KTM and Sorbit took the time to meet and even escorted me while shopping around Thamel to get the necessary items suitable for a January trek. His recommendations were spot on. I so appreciated this top-level customer service. While on the trek, my guide Sirjan and porter Lokindra really took care of me. They often guided the path when the trail became difficult making it easier for my big feet to make the ascent. They arranged accommodations, took care of all small details, communicated clearly the itinerary every day, made me laugh and most of all treated me like family. Sirjan gave me encouragement during steep ascents so that I could attain Kyanjin Ri- a highlight of the trip. It was a fantastic trip and I am so happy I was able to experience Langtang and the Tamang culture thanks to Bold Himalaya! I highly recommend Bold Himalaya if venturing to Nepal as their extensive experience, professionalism and customer service combined will make your dreams come true.

5.00From start to finish, my Langtang trek with Bold Himalaya was an incredible experience. It was my first time trekking at high altitude, and I honestly couldn’t have felt more supported. My guide, Garap, was outstanding, knowledgeable, patient, and his English was excellent. He constantly checked in on how I was feeling and made sure I was comfortable and safe at all times. The trek was adapted to my pace and energy each day, which made it feel truly personalised. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, dramatic peaks, peaceful valleys, and welcoming local communities. Everything ran so smoothly that I could just focus on enjoying the journey. Sobit, the owner, was also amazing! He helped me prepare beforehand, sorted out gear, and even checked in after I returned. His hospitality made a real difference and set the tone for the whole experience. I also really valued the company’s focus on sustainability, respect for nature, and animal welfare. You can tell they genuinely care about the environment and the places they trek through. I couldn’t recommend Bold Himalaya and Garap more — professional, caring, and exceptional in every way. A truly unforgettable adventure!
