A fun filled day for all ages!
Faliraki once renowned for its nightlife, is now a large diverse resort with plenty to do.
With 5km of sandy beach & the shallow waters of the Mediterranean Sea - this is an ideal beach for those with young children; certain parts of the beach have watersports and on the very outskirts (south of resort) is a beach for all those whom wish to bathe au natural.
Across this large village there are several bars & restaurants that specialise in International Cuisine, as well as a variety of shops & different venues for entertainment (crazy golf, trampolines etc).
For the hikers amongst you, there are some beautiful trails on the outskirts of the village that lead to the old monastery of Prophet Amos, on top of the hill.
Total time spent in Faliraki = 5 hours.

What To Expect
Wednesday & Saturday is a direct transfer along the by-pass. Tuesday the route takes you along the coastal road as it is combined with our Kallithea Sun trip. 1) Our professional driver will greet you at the pick up point and you will need to show your ticket as you enter the coach/minivan. 2) Once all passengers are aboard, the journey from the last pick up resort to Faliraki will take approximately 20 minutes (direct) or 35 minutes (coastal road). 3) The set down point in Faliraki will be at a central location that will also be your meeting point for the departure - the driver will inform you of departure time on the day. 4) This is a non-guided tour, so you have 5 hours leisure time in Faliraki to do as you please. 5) Departure from central meeting point, back to where you was picked up from in the morning. Please note that we will provide you with the current protocols in place for this excursion (for the prevention of the widespread of Covid-19) by email at time of booking.

The best trip to Faliraki!

5.00We had a great bustrip from Ialyssos to Faliraki beach with this travel company. We wanted to do a beach day, but we wanted something else than the pebble beach in Ialyssos, so we thought that the sandy beach in Faliraki would be a great option. The bus was on time and they were very clear about the pick up place. They picked us up just around the corner from our hotel. The bus ride itself was also very enjoyable. Airconditioning was included and the seats were very comfortable. Thereby, the bus driver was very friendly and during the ride he gave us a lot of interesting information about the environment. He dropped us off in the centre of Faliraki, where were a lot of cute shops, and in just a two minute walk we were at the beach. He was also very clear about the pick up time and pick up place (also Faliraki centre). We had enough free time in the centre of Faliraki and at the beach, where we had a lovely swim. At the end of the afternoon, the bus driver picked us up on time in the centre of Faliraki. We then asked him if it was possible to drop us off in the old town of Rhodes (because on the way to Faliraki, we saw that he drove there), instead of our hotel in Ialyssos. He told us that it wasn't a problem at all. In fact: he was so sweet, that he even gave us a short 'private tour' through some parts of Rhodes town (because we were the last ones in the bus). We've traveled a lot and we've been to a lot of different places, but this is something we've never experienced. It was seriously the nicest thing someone has ever done! So, Sigma Travel and of course the very nice bus driver; THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this great experience. I will definitely recommend this to everyone who goes to Rhodes. 100000 out of 10 ;)
