Your journey starts with a pick-up from your hotel or meeting at our office. We'll make sure you're bundled up in warm winter gear since it can get really cold (-30°C!). Then, we'll head out, away from Rovaniemi to chase the Northern Lights. We'll take you to the private location, which is a perfect place where you have the best chance to see the Northern Lights. During the tour, you'll get to explore the stunning Lapland wilderness, with snowy forests. And if we're lucky, we might see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky! We'll take a break halfway through and warm up by a campfire in our tipi. You will have a chance to enjoy delicious grilled sausages, hot drinks, and some sweets while your guide keeps an eye on the sky. It's also the perfect time to ask questions about Lapland and the Northern Lights. Feel free to bring your camera, and if you need one, we can help with a tripod. And remember, this tour is all about family fun, so it's perfect for everyone, young and old. Join us for this family-friendly Northern Lights adventure, and let's explore the enchanting Lapland together.

We joined the family-friendly Northern Lights tour in November with Laura and Jeremy, and I honestly don’t have the words to describe how special they made this evening. They were so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring with every single person on the tour. They connected with our children in such a natural and kind way that it felt as if we were out in nature with close friends rather than guides. The fact that they both spoke German was such a gift for our kids — it helped them feel confident, included, and excited from the start. We didn’t see any Northern Lights that night, but it truly didn’t matter. What we will remember forever is the magical time around the campfire on the frozen lake, laughing, the Snow!!, listening to stories, roasting snacks, and watching the quiet Arctic night around us. That moment alone exceeded everything we had hoped for. Because of Laura and Jeremy, this became the highlight of our whole trip — and the memory our children keep talking about more than anything else. They already said they want to come back just to do another adventure with Laura and Jeremy. And honestly, we feel exactly the same. We’re already dreaming about our next trip. Thank you, Wild About Lapland — and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you Laura and Jeremy, for giving us an experience we will carry with us for a lifetime.

Great experience in the cold of Lapland. The aurora borealis were not there but the team knew how to make us live a magical moment in the snow during photo shoots then in a lavvu where we roasted makkara around a fire.

We had the best experience on our trip with the 3 guides Berta, Adela and Marta. They were brilliant with my children, were able to answer any question we had about the northern lights and took the most amazing photos of us. I highly recommend this trip

Well organized excursion. Launched to 8. At the end there were campfires and a sausage for barbecue. Our guide was very accommodating. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights

Vince was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. After setting us up with some great photos, he played with the kids with the sleds so that we could take even more photos. It was the perfect length for my 5 and 8 year old and highly recommend to others.

At Wild about Lapland we have booked 4 excursions: family friendly Northern Lights, reindeer ride in the evening, huskies 10 km and snowshoes / ice fishing. Everything was perfectly arranged. We were picked up neatly on time, friendly guides and we had very nice excursions! Also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. We had booked everything six months in advance. In the meantime, I have been in touch a few times via email because I had some questions. I always got a very quick and neat answer. We recommend Wild about Lapland!

We had an amazing time on this family tour! Ou host was super friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The transport was very comfortable, and we even got to catch a glimpse of the aurora, though it wasn’t very strong. Overall, it was a memorable and well-organized tour, my 6 year old had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!”

This company is great. I also went with another company that was really bad. Our first guide Tim was dedicated, hard-working, and showed us how to make designs with the red light in a photo. My my second guide Aly was energetic, personable, which they all were also, but she was extra fun, and took excellent photos of our wonderful viewing of the Aurora activity that night. My other guides Gerard and Adrian also were super fantastic. The company is helpful during the day and by email and staffed by friendly and kind people.
