These twin pagodas were built to honor the 60th birthday of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992 respectively. One is called Naphamethinidon, meaning "by the strength of the land and air", and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri, meaning "being the strength of the air and the grace of the land". This tour made it easy to visit various areas of the park and get history along the way. WEAR your poncho when you get out to see the water falls!

This was a very well organised tour with good communication from operator, an enthusiastic guide who spoke good English and a comfortable mini bus. A lot was done and seen and at no stage felt a stop too long or too short besides the walk which felt a bit rushed, but then, it was wet. We were 15 in our group, aged 10-60, and 7 different nationalities - good fun! It was low season but can imagine that in high season it gets busy with queues and bumbing into the same groups at the different stops. Oh, do bring proper walking shoes, the trail was slippery (rainy season) and a raincoat or jumper as well.

Our guide was amazing - really friendly and funny and told us lots of interesting facts. We were also accompanied by 2 local Karen guides on the hike portion of the trip who were invaluable! They'd point out interesting plants and animals that I would have completely missed otherwise because they blended in so well with the environment. Great tour - highly recommend, especially if you like nature!

It was very good. Thailand is often associated with temples and the sea, but this tour gave me an opportunity to learn about another Thailand. The guide lady was very enthusiastic and kind.

My partner had food poisoning so couldn't come. Trip was great but a long day with just a little too much packed into it. Coffee was good and partner was upset to miss it.

We had a fantastic time on this trip. The best thing we’ve done in Thailand so far. It’s quite a way out of the city but the air conditioned bus was comfortable. We stopped at an amazing waterfall first, then went on to trek in the national park. We saw 3 snakes and a giant spider which were pointed out by our local guide. The walk was really interesting and not too challenging. Lunch in the Karen village was delicious and the coffee is amazing. After the hike we went on to the highest spot in Thailand. The cooler air was a welcome relief (19c). Then we went on to the twin pagodas which were also well worth seeing. We stopped at a market on the way back before being dropped off at our hotel. The whole day lasted from 7:30am till 6 pm. The day was very well organised and our guide, Q, was absolutely brilliant. He knew everything we wanted to know at each stop and even taught us some Thai phrases during the day, he was a really lovely guy. Great trip. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

A completely successful tour. Especially the waterfalls and the hike along the rice fields were very nice. Even if the rice terraces were still dry, it was a wonderful sight. On the hiking route it goes down a few stairs. For someone with limitations, this might be less suitable. Otherwise easy to run. Our guide Choo explained everything in detail and gave us an introduction to the Thai welcome gesture. Also the lunch was very delicious, as well as the coffee and tea tasting.

Super tour of Doi Inthanon National Park. There should be some fitness for the hike, but then the hike is great! The guide was very eager to explain everything. The timing of the trip is good and you are not too long in a place so you are bored.
