Was scheduled for the farm tour at Woodstone the day after our Milford Sound cruise. The cruise was "meh" given that it was pouring rain the whole time. The farm tour was excellent! Chris, the owner, and Brian, the sheep sheerer, were wonderful hosts and took the time to personally show us around. I have so much admiration for Brian after seeing how physically demanding it is to sheer a sheep. After the demonstration, we got to feed the animals, hold a lamb, and pet the watchful dog while we walked around. The farm is right on the main road in/out of Te Anau, and definitely worth a stop. Highly recommend!
