Begin your excursion by departing from Fez and traveling to Volubilis, a historic Roman city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival in Volubilis, explore ancient ruins, including houses, public buildings, and mosaics. Learn about the city's rich history. Leave Volubilis and head to Molay Idriss Zerhoun, a sacred city known for its religious importance and visit the Shrine of Moulay Idriss I. Next, head to the Imperial City of Meknes and see sites such as the Bab Mansour Gate, the Heri es-Souani granaries, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant in Meknes. Continue your tour of Meknes and visit the Koubba of Moulay Ismail, the basin of Sahrij Souani. Depart from Meknes and return to Fez, where we will drop you off at your accommodation or any other point requested.

Volubilis
Volubilis is the vestige of a Roman city built on the ancient site of a Punic-Berber city, which was capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, located in the Saïss plain, in northern Morocco, on the banks of the wadi. Rhoumane, river in the suburbs of Meknes. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Moulay Idriss
Moulay Driss Zerhoun It is famous for being the site of the tomb of Idris I, the first great Islamic ruler of Morocco, after whom the city is named.

5.00We went on this last minute trip from Fes since we had already covered much of Fes. We drove with driver Mohammed "couscous". He speaks over 13 languages so it was no surprise that he slipped into our language with ease and helped make this trip so much fun. He even arranged a local guide for us in Meknes - Mr. Omar - an 85 year old who knows Meknes and its medina. I felt that Moulay Idris can be skipped. Meknes large square is straight out of Prince of Persia sets.

5.00We were very happy with Bekben Travel. We were picked up on time in a very nice vehicle. Our driver Mohamed took care of all our needs from water bottles to wet wipes and coins for the toilet. He even treated us to pomegranates and juice! He happily took our photos and provided so much information about Morocco and the places we visited. He was so patient with all our questions and provided us with a very safe and happy day! Highly recommended!

5.00We did the Private Day Trip to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes from Fez, and it was an amazing time! Our driver, Abdel, picked us up right on time at the agreed meeting point in a clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned car. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. Along the drive, he pointed out interesting places and shared information about the region, which really added to the experience.It was a hot day, and Abdel even stopped to buy us bottles of water without us asking which was such a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. He told us the day was completely flexible and that we could take as long as we wanted at each stop. At Volubilis, we ended up staying about three or four hours because it was absolutely incredible. We loved the ancient Roman ruins and mosaics are so well preserved, and we just couldn’t get enough!After Volubilis, Abdel drove us to Moulay Idriss, where he stopped at a beautiful viewpoint for photos and took us through the town so we could see more of it. We then continued to Meknes, where he took us to a lovely rooftop restaurant for lunch with a great view. Throughout the day, Abdel was patient, accommodating, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.We were so happy with this day trip and can’t recommend it enough. It was the perfect mix of history, and culture. Abdel was an excellent driver and guide professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience.
Fantastic experience. Only regret- we didn’t book all our holidays with them.
