Just landed in Prague? We've got your first evening covered. This isn't a typical food tour. Four Czech-owned spots in Old Town, zero tourist traps, and portions generous enough that you'll leave fully fed.
We've handpicked every stop: the unique beer hall locals actually drink at, the family-run restaurant with no English menu, the bistro that's been here forever.
You'll taste beef with dumplings, delicious goulash, Czech beer or wine, and desserts you won't find at the tourist market stalls. But honestly? The food is only half of it. You'll also get the crash course in how Prague works — where to eat tomorrow, what to skip, which neighborhoods matter, how to order beer without looking like a tourist.
We keep groups small so it feels like dinner with locals, not a crowd following a flag. Want it private? We do that too — same spots, your own guide, your own pace.
By the end of the night, you'll know the city well enough to explore confidently the next day. Which is exactly the point.

Questions about Prague (your guide loves answering them)
Czech cuisine relies heavily on meat, milk, and butter. If you're vegan or lactose-intolerant, we won’t be able to feed you properly here in Prague.
We will meet at the entrance of the Municipal House. This Art Nouveau building was opened in 1912 and deemed a building “built by Czechs, for Czechs”. It houses the famous Smetana Concert Hall as well as a number of wonderful restaurants and wine bars. Most importantly it was the location of Czechoslovakia’s declaration of Independence.
✓ Your local Prague guide who knows the city inside out.
✓ A personalized food map. Where to eat for the rest of your trip.
✓ Four Czech-owned spots in Old Town, zero tourist traps. Generous portions at every stop — DO NOT make dinner reservations after this tour. You've been warned.
✓ PRIVATE TOUR OPTION: Hotel pick-up included. Same spots, your own guide.
✓ Four drinks: beer, wine, or soft drinks. Best beer in the world, excellent wines and maybe a surprise or two.
✓ Coffee and the best ice cream in town. Locally roasted specialty coffee at the end of the tour. And ice cream that'll make the kids (and let's be honest, you too) very happy.

Juba was a great guide. I took his food tour my first day in Prague and it was a great way to kick off my trip. My favorite part was the open faced sandwiches. I had to come back my last day to taste them again. I will definitely be doing another one of Juba’s tour if I find myself in Prague again. I will also be recommending him to my friends.

Kuba was a fantastic guide! He was personable, knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Czech food and Czech history. He was very attentive and ensured we all were comfortable and having a great time. All of the food stops on the trip were delicious and were varied in style. If we could give Kuba more than 5 stars we would, he will be forever in our Prague memories. Na zdravi!!

Nikky was a terrific guide! Lots of Czech food - you will be MORE than full - from open-faced sandwich, gingerbread, pork knuckle, schnitzel, potatoes, beer, ice cream, and more! Thankfully there was a bit of walking (10-15 mins approx) between locations to give us a break between food stops. Also enjoyed meeting the other people on the food tour and the stories Nikky shared. We had a total of 9 guests in our group. I appreciated that we received the location for meeting up and name and photo of our guide before the tour - made it helpful to find her.

Nicola introduced us to the most delicious local food while telling us interesting bits of history and culture along the way. Our group was a perfect size of 10. Great conversations, delicious food and overall fun experience.

I've always enjoyed food tours as I travel the worl and my recent tour in Prague, was not an exception. We were especially fortunate to have Nicky as our leader and she introduced us not only to some Czech favorites but also snuck in a few extras that were greedily consumed. She also got us on a boat docked at the pier for some great eats while listening to 8 old timers playing the instruments they have probably played for decades. A real treat and a memorable night.

Wonderful and informative tour. Our guide Jakub was great. He obviously loves his town and gave us the best food and drink options at each stop. We had a fun group. I have been on a lot of food tours in Europe and I thought this one was a bit pricey but they order right from the menu instead of preplanned small bites. So worth the extra cost and made for a better experience. Great night overall!

This food tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague! Nikola was absolutely incredible and made us feel less like tourists and more like longtime friends spending the day together. From the very beginning, she took great care to learn what we liked, disliked, and whether we had any allergies, which made the experience feel very personal and thoughtful. Nikola explained every food and drink along the way with so much passion and knowledge, and the conversation throughout the tour was just as enjoyable as the food itself. She created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that by the end, we genuinely didn’t want the tour to end. Everything felt authentic, relaxed, and perfectly organized. It was well worth the money, and we would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague. Thank you, Nikola for such a memorable experience!
