My wife and I arrived 30 minutes early for the tour and tasting. The gentleman from Eimverk greeted as and offered us a most wonderful gin & tonic while we waited for our tour & tasting. He was super knowledgeable and answered many questions. He was absolutely terrific through the tour & tasting. We learned much about the Eimverk history of distilling spirits, as well as much about the distilling business in general. We rate the experience 5-star A+++++ and recommend the tour & tasting with much enthusiasm. Enjoy!

A must stop for any whiskey or gin enjoyer. You get to sample alot. With the goal of keeping as much as possible sources from iceland the flavors are truly unique and the concepts are interesting. If I remember correctly the only thing outsourced are the barrels and the bottles. EVERYTHING else is sourced from iceland. As our guide let us sample even more if there were any we were interested in. The setting is casual and the tour is small but the tasting is where this event shines. You owe it to yourself to get the inside scoop on this ground breaking distillery.

We greatly appreciated the demonstration and actually bought two bottles. We are bringing them all back to France, and I think we are going to enjoy them...

Excellent visit to this distillery. We went by bus from Reykjavik and it worked very well. The guide/personnel at the distillery was very nice and welcoming. The visit itself is short, but the tasting part was very complete and great, in a very nice room. They have excellent products!

We had such a great time at Flóki Distillery! The tour was really relaxed and enjoyable, and it was cool hearing the story behind the distillery and how everything is made. You can tell they really care about what they do. The tasting was definitely a highlight — everything we tried was unique and really good. Even if you’re not a huge whiskey person, it’s still a fun experience and something different to do while visiting Iceland. The staff made the whole tour feel welcoming and personal. We left with a much bigger appreciation for the product (and a couple bottles to take home). Definitely recommend checking it out!

This was an amazing taste tour of Icelandic whiskey and gin! The host was not only knowledgeable and friendly, but helped us appreciate the various whiskey and gin produced by the distillery. My two favorites are the sheep dung smoked whiskey and the gin. The smoked whiskey is incredible and, I think, that the local water (glacial) made the gin taste spectacular! I'm not a regular gin and tonic drinker, but this was a much different taste experience with their gin. If you enjoy whiskey and gin, please book a taste tour of this distillery to be prepared to be surprised by the exceptional tastes.

While we did not take the tour per se, we did visit the distillery. It's located at the back of the building! Niko greeted us upon entering. He is a model for customer service and such a lovely person! We were there shortly after opening and the only people there. He provided us with an impromptu tasting of several of their products for a reasonable fee. He was a delight and we had an enjoyable conversation. He explained the process, their products, discussed Iceland, its people, history and gave us some tips as tourists. We had a lovely time and stayed maybe 45 minutes. Niko made us want to come back and take the "official" tour but we could not fit it into our schedule on this visit to Iceland. Of course, we brought home some of their beverages!

What better way to celebrate a trip to Iceland than to enjoy a tasting of spirits made with heirloom Icelandic barley and locally sources botanicals. Tasting included a full run of Gins, Brennevin, and a range of whiskeys inspired by Icelandic history and including aging and finishes like Birch, Ale casks sources in collaboration with local breweries, and smoked malts that celebrate the history of the island while offering a surprisingly smooth and complex sip.
