FlyOver Canada
Take an exhilarating flight simulation ride. Your 25-minute experience inside a 3-story high-dome-screen theater is made up of three stages: the pre-show, pre-launch and the 8-minute experience. First, walk into the pre-show area for an audio-visual showcasing the people of Canada. Then, head to the boarding zone for your preflight briefing. After a safety orientation, you’re led to the flight deck. Get buckled in and hold on for takeoff! Soar from coast to coast in Canada, and immerse yourself in spectacular scenery. Grab on to your seat as you dive from high peaks to the rolling countryside; see fishermen, cowboys, lakes and the woods — they’re so close you can almost touch them. Feel the wind and rain in your face, and inhale heady scents of wherever you’re flying through. When your flight ride ends, take a moment to recover and then exit through the hangar. This tour is available all-year round, with shows starting every 20 minutes during operating hours.

My family and I experienced "Awaken Canada" and "Iceland". The online booking experience was seamless and efficient. The price for the two, especially with a 25% off promo code was reasonable. Without the promo code, I would classify it as overpriced. The customer service was excellent. Due to a delay in a prior commitment, I couldn't reach there for my designated time slot, but the customer service was very efficient, courteous and helpful, and switched my experience times without any added fees. When we got there, the staff were well organized, and the tickets were scanned efficiently. The first part of the experience is a little summary of what you are going to see and some background, which was great, especially if you have children. It is important to the geographical background, the culture, especially of the indigenous people, and other interesting facts about what you are going to watch. The resolution of the wall-to-wall video could be better, as it was a bit low resolution. The main show with the seat movement and suspended in air with a screen that almost completely covers your vision was quite impressive, however, during fast pans and the video in your peripheral vision was quite blurry. The resolution was also not that good. I am not sure if it was the source or the screens/projector, but this can be improved a lot. However, it is important to keep in mind that with higher resolution it might become hyper realistic and could potentially cause discomfort/nausea to some people. Even at this resolution if you have movement related nausea, I recommend taking a gravol before the show. The one other thing I would improve is (when it is time to update the seats and equipment), is to reduce the top part that shoots mist at you. It juts too far forward to have a completely immersive experience. The main show was just under ten minutes, and I wish it was longer. Finally, having a text to show what part you are flying over, identifying specific mountains, glaciers would be helpful. Overall, This is a great family outing to experience lands from above, and certain parts truly immersive.

Book ahead. Be prepared to stand for awhile. Once you get into the high-tech/specky theatre you’re guaranteed to fall in love with Canada - if you haven’t done so already! ❤️

The person beside us was using their cell phone to video the experience … totally distracted from the show for us. Cell phones should be banned !!!

Better than expected - such a thrill and beautiful visuals of Canada, coast to coast Staff organized the guests very well - NOT a bad seat - so do not try to "get in" ahead of the crowd - - - Highly recommend this overall experience
