What To Expect
We will meet at our meeting point in the Walled City, where we will meet and begin this walking tour of Cartagena. During the walk, we will visit the Old City and the colorful neighborhood of Gethsemane, making different stops to enjoy more than eight typical tastings that represent the most authentic flavors of Carthagean and Colombian cuisine. As we sample each dish, you will learn about the history, culture and hidden corners of the city, discovering places that many visitors do not get to know. The experience ends with a special stop dedicated to Colombian coffee, where you will learn about its origin, preparation techniques and taste a cup made by yourself with local experts. A complete, delicious and cultural experience to know Cartagena walking, tasting and enjoying its essence.

5.00We had an amazing food tour in Cartagena and can’t recommend it enough! Yeimy and her colleague were absolutely fantastic—so bubbly, funny, and full of energy. They made the entire experience fun, engaging, and incredibly informative. We tasted so many delicious local foods—fresh local fruits, coconut water, cheese snacks, coffee, arepas, plantains with fresh cheese, tajadas, and more. Every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen, and we loved learning about the culture and history behind the food. Beyond the food, the tour also took us through the walled city, local shopping areas, and Getsemaní, giving us a wonderful feel for the city’s vibe and history. Overall, this tour was the perfect mix of food, culture, and fun. We had such a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena!

5.00My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food tour experience. We had the chance to taste local snacks from local vendors which made us feel comfortable and acquainted during our stay. My favorite was the cheese, guava, and corn snack that I forgot the name of. Daniela was our tour guide and was super friendly, informative and easy to find. I highly recommend this tour during your first few days in Cartagena.

5.00Excellent tour full of the different typical foods and drinks of Cartagena. Mafe made the experience very pleasant and took care of all the logistics during the tour as well as adding historical data in each place. Mafe identified himself on WhatsApp before the tour and was super responsible and punctual. Super recommended!!

5.00Super recommended! The experience walking the streets of downtown Cartagena was amazing, as well as trying typical island food and 100% Colombian coffee. The attention of the guides (Dani and Lucho) was excellent, personalized and extremely fun. Cartagena has a special place in my heart and I will definitely return and of course schedule with this amazing agency.
