This is the only food walking tour in Perth, Scotland. Tour guests get to spend time with a local person and discover Perth in a unique way. During the tour they will be taken on a gentle walk around the city of Perth and learn a little of our local history and some fun facts. They will also stop at up to 7 venues to sample local delicacies and traditional Scottish food and drinks which will be the equivalent of a light 3 course lunch.
This tour has been specially created by us and is a really fun and interesting way to spend an afternoon, learn more about the city of Perth and maybe even make some new friends!

There is around 45 minutes of walking on the tour on mainly flat surfaces and some areas with cobblestones so each guest should assess their own ability for this

What To Expect
Perth
The guests on the tour will enjoy a guided walk with places of interest being pointed out on the way. There will be an opportunity for photos as we walk and guests will learn about some of the local history and fun and interesting facts about the city. As part of the tour the guests will enjoy tastings of traditonal Scottish food and drinks plus some local specialities.

There are up to 7 stops at venues for a taste of Scottish food and drinks including oatcakes and cheese, Cullen skink soup, bakery pies and cakes, haggis, neeps & tatties, whisky, gin, cranachan, beer

5.00This was genuinely the best foodie tour I’ve ever been on in my life. Wendy has put an incredible amount of thought into every single detail each stop, each story, each route and every place we visited felt intentional and meaningful. I would highly recommend this tour not only to tourists but also to locals. You will learn so many fascinating historical facts and notice things around the city that you’ve probably walked past hundreds of times without ever really seeing. Wendy’s passion for Perth truly shines through. She is captivating to listen to and has such a vivid, engaging way of storytelling that you can genuinely imagine events unfolding years ago. One of the absolute highlights was an unexpected magical moment when, just seconds after Wendy mentioned that otters can sometimes be seen in the river, we actually spotted one. It felt like pure luck and added such a special touch to an already unforgettable experience. This is not a “standard” tour by any means. It’s a perfect balance of history, amazing food, wonderful drinks, atmosphere, stories, and both visual and tasting experiences. A little tip do not eat a lot before the tour, because there is plenty of food and drink and you will definitely not leave hungry. On top of all that, Wendy is such a lovely, warm, and interesting person. The tour offers exceptional value for money, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I truly hope our paths cross again one day. Thank you so much, Wendy. I honestly don’t think this tour could be any better.

5.00This was such an excellent experience. Wendy was fabulous. She chose the food perfectly so we had a real scottish experience - and it was all delicious. The venues were also well chosen to fit with the interesting stories of Perth. Wendy was obviously passionate about Perth and well known and she organised everything beautifully. Highly recommended.

5.00Wonderful afternoon spent with Wendy enjoying amazing food & drink and learning about the history of Perth. Lots of laughter and beautiful places to stop at to taste Scottish food and drink, much of this is local produce and very high quality. We thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very full at the end. Wendy is professional, knowledgeable, and fun to spend time with. Would highly recommend this tour, great value for money, you won't be disappointed.

5.00My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Wendy’s food and drink tour around the city of Perth (Scotland), with some local history knowledge thrown in for good measure. We had a warm, dry and sunny day to enjoy the walks through Perth between the various eats and drinks venues, but this tour would be equally enjoyable on the odd occasion the Scottish highlands should be cooler or wetter, with every visited venue on the tour being cozy and inviting. Wendy is the perfect host and guide, and at every stage of the tour she offers you another little pleasant surprise … but no spoilers here, that’s for you to discover, experience and enjoy. We have found some nice new places to eat and drink the next time we are back in Perth. All of venue hosts were very welcoming. The tour was well paced and Wendy an excellent host. Highly recommend booking this tour if you are in the area.

5.00It was my first time visiting Perth ( Scotland in fact) from Hong Kong and having the experience of a walking food tour. I was alone on the tour and thankfully Wendy did not mind it. Wendy is fantastic, personable and informative. Great food tour and I got to see some hidden spots in the city as well. Thank you Wendy for doing the tasting with me as I was solo. All of the food and drinks were great - shoutouts to Cafe80 and Cullach Brewing - warm hospitality and wonderful vibes.
