Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.

5.00Icy is a truly exceptional guide. Instead of just listing dates and facts, she brought the Forbidden City to life with stories, metaphors, and humor, making every detail memorable. She expertly showed us the most enjoyable highlights of each palace, saving us time and maximizing our visit. When we explored on our own later, we saw exactly what she meant—she had already covered the very best parts. Despite the cold weather, Icy kept us warm with her kindness and even provided hand warmers—nanbaobao. After the tour, she also recommended a helpful YouTube documentary, which deepened our appreciation for the palace. It was a perfect and unforgettable city walk. 5.00We had an Absolutely fantastic tour with Icy.She made our T square and Forbidden City tour perfect. She has a real gift for explaining things clearly and making the complex history and stories come alive. We learned not just about the emperors and palace life, but also fascinating details about the architecture, like the sunmao technique, using her helpful photos and stickers. Her thoughtfulness was incredible. Despite the unexpected cold, the warming foot pads she provided saved the day (and my feet!). She made sure we had plenty of breaks for hot drinks and photos, and gave us great tips for exploring further after the tour. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Icy!

5.00The crowd and security requirements at Tiananmen and Forbidden City were more than expected. Thankful for having a guide to navigate. Icy, our guide was very helpful and friendly. Wherever we went, she was able to relate the history and interesting stories behind the artifacts. She spoke English well and sometimes switched to Mandarin to cater to others in our group. The pace was comfortable, with rest stops and photo opportunities along the way. The earphones provided was a great help to hear her commentary properly. I recommend this tour and Icy made it a worthwhile time.

5.00We finally saw The Forbidden City, and grabe (wow/serious), the feeling is totally different when you’re actually there! We saw so many pictures and videos online, but the real-life scale? It’s seriously insane! The complex is so sobra (too much) unbelievably massive; it's almost scary how huge the emperors' home was. We walked and walked, took many breaks, and still couldn't cover the whole place—it’s just too vast. Each hall and courtyard is so grand and detailed. It really felt like we traveled back in time. Seeing those huge, magnificent roofs and walls in person was a lifetime experience. You really need a whole day, maybe even more, just to appreciate how big this piece of history is!

5.00We were in a group of around 13 people walking around Tiananmen square and the forbidden city. Our tour guide was Linda and she spoke very good English and had interesting things to say about the places we visited. We are very happy we booked a tour, because there are longer queues without one and there is only little info for foreign tourists if you enter alone.
