Tiananmen Square is located at the center of Beijing. It is the largest city square in the world.

Tian'anmen Square,occasionally be closed temporarily. In the event of such a closure, we will refund the price difference.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.

2.00The Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square is a massive area to see, so we were thankful we had a guide. However, due to the size of the attraction it is easy to spend all day touring the grounds. My wife and I picked this tour because it has an approximate listed duration of 4.5 hours and we had planned to spend half a day of sightseeing for the Forbidden City. Unfortunately, our guide spent more time than was allotted providing historical context which led to our group only completing about 70% of the tour at the 4.5 hour mark. Since we had made alternate plans for the afternoon according to the tour duration, we along with several other people from the group were forced to leave the tour early and make our way to the exit which is when we realized how far we were from being finished with the tour. Our group hadn't even made it to the palace gardens, which would have been nice to spend some time in with a guide before we left.

4.00Our tour guide Mary was very nice and knowledgable. For me it was a one and done and I feel it could have been cut shorter. It was long and drawn out. However with that said we didn’t have to stand in line and figure out all the lines. So it was good to have a guide in that aspect. I’m torn as if I’d recommend it. Part of me says no and part says yes
